It's also humbling to see how old his videos actually are. Most of us know him only in the late 2010s when he really started becoming famous. But he has literally been filming since he was an actual child (you can see in one of the videos he had to get back to school to finish his final exams).

Same! Marques' HTC One M7 review is around the time i first found his channel and that video is part of what got me to buy that phone and it was the first smartphone i bought myself (second one i owned after the HTC Inspire 4G my parents got me). So it's super nostalgic for me too.

I remember HTC in its prime and how much love they were getting in 2014 with the One M8. Almost all channels were praising it over the competition, some even put it above the M9 that came a year later. Losing HTC stung, so when LG went dark too, I felt LG fans' pain.

Love it! I vote similar difficulty, but maybe have a “full knowledge” round where you give points for each aspect of the video. So show one clip or frame from a video and give 1 point for location, 1 point for topic, 1 point for year, 1 point for title

18:55 this is the time where I follow smartphones in general so I remember this fondly. The trouble back then with the 4.0 is that Google, in their infinite wisdom, called it Ice Cream Sandwich. The next year's version was 4.1 but was the "next gen" Android signaled with a new nickname, Jellybean UNTIL the 4.3 for the next year. Later the same year, they updated to 4.4 KitKat. Afterwards, it becomes easier with the yearly update scheme with version n+1 and followed by a nickname update. Until Android Pie anyway. That said, before v4.0 ICS, any Android bigger updates that Google deemed worthy of nickname update was in the subversion number. Good times.
