India also has so many options to choose the dress code for such events. They don't have to choose saree and kurta for every occasion. India is blessed with so many tribes and their cultures that they can design the dress based on any culture. For eg. The Mongolian dress which you see here is somewhat similar to the Buddhist communities of Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim. What Iam trying to say is that the uniform designer can design the dress based on any Indian community rather than saree. Iam not against saree

Chinese and Mongolian clothing is very similar for historical reasons, at least for men. But the costume originated in Mongolia, where the Manchus learned it from the Mongols 300 years ago and forced the Han Chinese to wear it as well.

It's very similar to the Chinese formal wear during the Qing dynasty. I really like these Asians style. They outshines the west.
