Does Performance air filter change the exhaust sound? (K&N)

Now you surely need a map change or a pigi back ecu I think… otherwise your engine might heat alot or burn engine oil

I think because he hasn’t got the open top air filter cover might be okay but if you change the top cover deffo need a pigi back ecu or it will run too lean

No its not needed for those things if he still has the muffler inside the exhaust pipe. The oxygen sensor present in the outlet decides the air fuel mixture and in the next cycle of stroke it gets the right mixture of air. The tuning is only required when you have both free flow exhaust and air filter then the movement of piston will be free and you get more power. This can be felt actually when you are actually driving the bike and suddenly if you switch of the ignition you will feel if bike is holding or moving freely.

You should definitely change/wash your air filter every 5000 km or even more frequently. I have a 790 Duke and I am changing the oil, oil, and air filter every 3-4000 km. The restricted air filter can muffle the intake sound too, less air means a smaller bang in the cylinder (less power) so those 2 add up soundwise and powerwise. Great video!

You need to keep it an idle for 15 minutes after installing so that the ecu can adjust a little bit

That's not placebo my friend, that's true, because that air filter will allow more aire into the system, now you need to tune the gas and aire mixture to have the best performance for the bike

Yes you should remap ur ecu and install a nice exhaust maintain proper back pressure and install a high flow airfilter and upgrade ur engine oil to fully synthetic and change the oil filter install high flow oil filter and install iridium spark plugs...this will be proper add ons to ur 200🤌

Thats sounds very good but i think that its not worth to spend so much money for a 200 cc when i can just wait to buy the 390 modifying the exhaust delete the catalyt and install an air filter you think would make a difference and is it dangerous for the bike?

@@stavrosgrapsas8756 but 200 and 250's are more reliable than a 390 with all the mods 200 and 250's are still reliable as a stock bike But the 390 is completely different it is not reliable for some serious mods and the engine stresses so much if u redline constantly .so it's worthy if u build a 200 or a 250 excellent engines .Try building more power from a lower cc engine it is same as a forced induction technology unless a turbo you are tuning and unleashing the full potential . 200cc is capable of everything just build ur beast budddyy
