@@planetpeterson2824 No person is “not wrong about anything.” My point is that RFK Jr. stands completely in the way of science. He is rightfully credited as a source of anti-vax conspiracy theories, as well as a number of other conspiracy theories related to WiFi causing “leaky brain” and he thinks he has “brain worms.” The only reason we’re even talking about him is because he propelled himself into the public eye through the money and influence he gained through anti-vax ideas. He is the antithesis to science and the scientific method. And all of that is on top of him being in the race simply because he manipulates people who believe these things and because he is right to pose at least some threat to Biden’s presidential campaign (he is funded, at least in part, by Trump donors). With all that being said, I love your content and think you think very logically and articulate super well. This is the first time I have so far substantially disagreed with you.

Edit: For whatever reason, my original reply and subsequent attempts at reiterating what I had said in that reply keeps being deleted, seemingly automatically. This is sort of my last hope at getting my point across. I had said, no one is not wrong about anything and, in some amount of detail, that he is antithetical to science, has supported ideas that go against actual science, and he is supported by those who believe his unscientific ideas and Trump donors (at times even Trump himself who is running against him) with the hope that he will be a detriment to Biden’s campaign. Hopefully this comment isn’t deleted as well because that would be extremely disappointing in all honesty. Not sure if it’s KZbin, you, or your comment blacklists, but I want to give you the benefit of the doubt.

Tell me you know next to pretty much nothing about communism or history or economics without telling me 💀💀💀you genuinely should just refrain from having an opinion about any of these things since you very obviously don't know much about them when it comes to having a sound critical analysis against "why or why not communism?" You are very intelligent and informed on topics like evolution, biology, religion, and the history involved around those topics of discussion. I think you know better than to have an opinion on something you genuinely c nothing about. In my opinion, I'd say you owe it to yourself to actually study such a topic like communism especially when making claims about revolutionary leaders like Stalin or Kim Jong Un. It's very ideologically or even politically dangerous for someone to take the kind of position of "against" communism because while you may think you are more "progressive leaning" or "liberal" you will inevitably do something against your own interest like a Trump supporter voting for or against something that is "communist like". Free market capitalism and it not being inherently evil is such an ignorant take as well. Such a claim demonstrates the lack of economic, historical, and political/philosophical comprehension necessary to logically understand why that could never be true. Capitalism is literally dependent upon the exploitation of labor and commodities. Without these two fundamental components, capitalism cannot thrive like it has for last 250-300 years. This is precisely why we are seeing the collapse of capitalism today across the globe and why people like yourself are under the assumption that "back in the day" you could earn a decent living. This was solely because the ruling imperialist nation was dominating the planet for resources and gave its working class the ability to somewhat enjoy the "free market" American Dream. We will never see that material reality ever again. It is impossible to ever go back to that point in history period. We the working class must educate ourselves in order to survive and rebuild the coming multi polar world.

I haven’t watched the video yet but as a communist I am excited to see what he has to say lol Perfect so first the idea that communism has turned into dictatorships is a pretty common misconception. Communism is the step after socialism. So you go from capitalism where the means are privately owned, to socialism where they are owned by the workers, to communism which is classless, moneyless and stateless. The dictatorships you refer to are state capitalist entities not communist. Whereas the means are controlled by private interest in collaboration with the state which the mass public has no say in. To be clear, communism is not achievable in our lifetime. It takes an immense amount of social and economic footwork as well as global cooperation to be viable. Nothing wrong with that but you have to start somewhere. I’m a communist in principle but in practice I’m a libertarian socialist. Capitalism will have to transition to socialism and then evolve into communism. The massive flaw in capitalism is that when you allow the means to be privately owned, you grant social and economic control of one class over another. Your employer can by extension dictate everything about your life, alter the economy to benefit themselves, create awful products that get worse in quality and increase in price, siphon labor value up to the owner class, vastly influence politics to preserve the narrative that capitalism is perfect and infallible, control the supply of jobs and housing, control what the jobs pay, etc. The United States has taken drastic steps to undermine socialist regimes all over the world and the CIA has admitted this publicly. When the owner class controls the state, they can construct any narrative they like to maintain the status quo. Look up the CIA’s involvement in regime change as well as the Jakarta method.

@@planetpeterson2824 the trouble here is that every success toward worker’s rights has been done fighting against the capitalist class. Under capitalism that conflict of interest will ALWAYS exist. And it’s a detriment to a properly functioning society. As an example you can look at how absurdly corrupt and broken our government and democracy are. I think we’d both agree that 99% of actions by our government are not being done in the name of human prosperity. Look at the military industrial complex which is a tax money laundering scheme between manufacturing companies and our government. Private healthcare, where it’s been proven that we’d spend net less tax money having a single payer system. The prison system (all private companies) with extremely high recidivism rates. There are many more examples I just can’t think of right now lol. One important point is that capitalism is also predicated on ENDLESS growth which is completely unsustainable. Companies have to make record profits year over year to continue getting investments and by extension, functioning. This comes at the cost to only the workers and consumers because the only way to raise profits are to cut costs (lower quality products, lower wages) or to raise prices. Endlessly. And to your point about communist countries being shitholes, please look into the CIA’s involvement in regime change of socialist countries. There are endless pages of examples and even videos of CIA officials talking about it gleefully. Love the channel btw, I appreciate you reading all the yappping.
