You're so right about seeing other black people. Esp when we are somewhere where we are few. And 100% about community n cliques they stick to their own esp as an adult. I relate to most things you say for sure 100%. Moving to Canada definitely open your eyes esp if you truly care for the greater good.

Thank you for the awesome video! I have a couple of questions-is there a community of Black/African Americans in BC, or do they group with the Caribbean community? Also, for the racism that you’ve faced/are facing, have you experienced this while touring and exploring different parts of BC on your downtime? Lastly, is the racism/sexism you are experiencing across different non-Black groups or just one (wink wink) group? Thanks, I’m American and curious about traveling to BC 😉. Take care 🌹

There are different groups of immigrants in BC including a black community. People from same race tend to live in the same area, and they tend to be more racist when they are on there area. Downtown Vancouver is more liberalized. I also find that Canadians are nicer than immigrants that recently moved here.

I lived in Germany in the late 80s and then the 90s. It was the same. Even in Berlin, which was supposed to be the most advanced German city in terms of open-mindedness and having more foreigners. I ended up learning: Who cares? Let them stand up and punish themselves for their stupidity. I crossed my legs and used up all the space on the bus seat that they were not taking. I spread myself out on the seat and had fun!
