Now I understand a lot of hate comments about fake reviews and what not. At the start that lady definitely said a different takeaway but you cut that part out to make it look like she said the one you're going to. cmon dude

I have been a supporter for years but thats a good observation you made. There is something missing from the channel recently is a lack of cheap eats like the chicken cottage, KFC, kebab, dive spot days. Also yes of course its not something you want to see all the time but it just mixes it up having those basic spots, its also produced pretty hillarious moments i.e Tomasz, Starburger etc for those that know XD Also i dont actually mind these higher rated spots but the issue is that the owners clearly know he is coming in advance, so they are probably nicing him with portions and taking extra care, its not as trustworthy. It definetly feels less authentic than 2019-2022 days for example and sad to see Callum no longer even mentioned at all, nor big daddy b, Jess also no longer in the vids at all. It feels all a bit standardised now since hitting 100k subs, less of the chaos, randomness and true fun, but more of the same to just put out videos for the sake of it and less genuine unfortunately. Thats just my take and i still love the channel, but just being honest as it's harder to trust the much more frequent 9's and 10's high scoring being less impartial.

@@rorym4673 For me Dan is a great addtion, his camerawork is professional, he seems a solid guy and he never injects himself over Matt or the review. He is quite similar to Callum and adds a great presence. My issue though is that as long time fans it would be nice to see the OG members get back together or just have them mentioned once in a while. Callum was supposedly returning in late 2023 after having his newborn, but him or big daddy B suddenly never get mentioned anymore, its just all a bit odd. Even Terry suddenly just went without a mention. I know people move on to new things and Matt does not owe anybody an explanation as its personal stuff, but hopefully at the very least there is no tension or issues among them as they were all good mates and miss seeing them.

I really used to like this channel but it just seems a bit over produced now lost the magic of him and jess just turning up to a seemingly random kebab or chicken shop. Literally became what they hated about other food reviewers.

Matt I like your passion for food and your reviews but im no prude but the language you use on the reviews is totally unacceptable so that sonetimes you have to have it bleeped ( must tell you something). As far as i know it is open to anyone to watch so young children will be watching. Woyld you please control your tongue, youre not short of vocabulary so dont need to use these swear words which dont make sense in context anyway so please bring the language up to the standard of the food. Others can do it "Spudman" "Rate my takeaway" please join the club I don't want to prolong this but if Fullmoon's comment is a reflection of where we are as a nation where any content is acceptable then we're in a poor state. As content inputters who know their audience contains children then there is (I hope & trust) a RESPONSIBILITY to give appropriate content NOT four letter swear words which are totally unnecessary. And yes I am an "oldie" and proud of it. Respect and responsibility are very lacking in the main today and we are the poorer for it.

KZbin has every content creator confirm if there content is made for kids or not before it’s uploaded , in which this is not made for kids, KZbin has a dedicated kids app to protect them from mature content. If you’re a parent the responsibility is yours to make sure your kids are not consuming media which isn’t appropriate if you can’t do that then don’t go complaining about someone’s language and try making out to be weird for having sexual jokes etc, If you don’t like don’t watch it quite simple concept right. I promise you the language used by kids at any middle school or high school is far worse 😂😂

I think a lot of original viewers are trying to comment on what they loved about the earlier shows and what they don’t like about the direction of the later ones. Seems like helpful feedback some of it agree some comments are not constructive but possibly still helpful in terms of a temperature test re the style of the content.
