Hi welcome to Deaf talks news,
Yesterday December 1 was World AIDS day. People who work for the HIV/AIDS infected spread awareness among all. If someone says HIV / AIDS people will think it's bad and they don't know the difference between HIV and AIDS.
HIV is a virus ( Human immunodeficiency virus). This virus enters the human body and attacks the immune system last stage called
AIDS. I know you understand right.
How does it spread? HIV spread in 4 ways.
1.Unprotected sex - one or many
2.Sharing needles
3.Blood donations or blood transformation.
4.Mother to Child
These are the only 4 ways HIV can spread; rather it can’t be spread by shaking hands, touching, hugging and kissing, coughing, sneezing, food utensils, bed, clothes, toilet, swimming pool in infected persons. Why? Because it spreads only through blood. Symptoms are different for people with HIV and AIDS. HIV infection can be diagnosed through blood tests named ELISA (Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay).
How to prevent HIV virus
Safe sex: Use condoms during sex to protect yourself from sexually transmitted infections.
Blood test: Precautionary tests should be carried out during proper blood transfusion in hospitals and blood banks.
Stop breastfeeding : HIV infected mothers should stop giving breastmilk to the baby. Because the babies who have soft muscles in their mouth while drinking milk it will hurt and be able to pass HIV virus through it.
Why do we want to do this topic as a news article because we want to spread awareness among Deaf people.
One important thing don't discriminate against any HIV/AIDS infected persons. Example : One woman can get infected by her husband and one child affected by her mother so it is not their mistake. Mistake done by someone. Try to accept and help them in any way. If you have any doubts, comment below and subscribe Deaf talks.
Thank you for watching us.
