You can find "out of date" legends cars dirt cheap. They will have the old spec motor. yamaha 1250, air cooled, older model shocks, rear gear etc.@@TheSmokingTire

1:30 those little guys in the back ground are the Bandelero series cars! They have a 30hp Briggs motor and they are for kid drivers ages 7-12! It's a really cool series to get younger people into racing.

Used ones are for sale all over the place in nascar country for $5-10k usually with a bunch of spare parts, depending how fresh and up to date they are. Know of several that get used for road course track days and SCCA hill climb. Fun fact: the only thing to convert it from oval spec to road is alignment and maybe spring rates, there are no left turn specific parts.

I purchased one 4 months ago to race at Irwindale speedway. Most fun you can have for the price. Picked up my car for 13k. They also run on 91 octane, race entry is $50.
