Thank you for your support! I am disappointed I didn’t lose more, I genuinely did eat much less than usual and did 3 gym sessions which I normally do, I actually purposefully increased my fluid intake as well as I was hungry at times as well. I have heard of many others not having the result they feel they deserve too! 😥 Wishing you the best of luck! Please let me know how you get on 😊

I'm the same! SP doesn't work for me (personally)! I was excited to get weighed last Tuesday morning. I had such a good week. My plate was mostly fresh vegetables with a protein. Carefully weighed my HEA and HEB. Didn't even use my daily syn allocation - didn't want it. I felt so good. Imagine my disappointment when I stepped on the scales ... and had put half a pound ON. I was so upset. But, big girl pants on, I didn't let it affect me this week, so we shall see what the scales say tomorrow 🤞 You are amazing! And I love that you are so open and honest with us ❤

Hi Karen, wow - I’m encouraged to hear that you’ve had a similar experience. I told my consultant that I’d completed 6 days SP. She was really keen for me to have had a great loss. I stepped on the scales and went “aww 😟” she said, it’s still a loss! I wanted more but can’t say I didn’t lose… I’m devastated for you, to hear that you gained! That’s so sad and disheartening for you too. I hope it hasn’t bothered you too much, bouncing back is so important. I will always be open and honest, not here to sugar coat anything - there’s syns 🤣🤣 sorry, it’s late and I’m a bit delirious. Have a fantastic week ahead! Xx

Hi Denise, when I did SP it was same for me. Bodies are funny things. I've lost 4stones 5 pounds and am struggling to lose more. Going very slow. True a loss is a loss. We're all with you. Xx 😘

Do you know Denise I know exactly how you feel! I did an SP week and I would say I lost more money than weight that week and it wasn’t a big of a loss as I expected! The same when I’ve done SW meals for a whole week! When I just eat my normal way I steadily lose so I’m sticking to that this time around! 😊 You are doing so amazing! I’m near my 1 stone loss and with only needing to lose two pound to get it, my mindset is if I do it I do if I don’t I don’t! Just keep doing what you’re doing!!!

Hi Marie, I’m sad but encouraged to hear that you had a similar experience to me. I find SP is sold as being a quick way to lose weight, fast. It does state in the food optimising book that it is ideal to drop pounds before an event or holiday etc - I’m glad I’m not relying upon SP for results otherwise I’d be very sad indeed! Well done on your loss so far, that is a fantastic achievement. 1.5lb to go to get my 5 stone award…here’s hoping it happens ASAP! Thank you for supporting me ❤️

I’ve thrown in a few SP days this week and I don’t feel any better in myself, possibly a bit less bloated. I feel much better, but at over 16 stone, I do have a way to go. I think that’s the most frustrating thing - being still significantly overweight and the losses are like trying to wade through treacle…mmm treacle 😂😂. Anyways, I got sidetracked there 💃 I’m going to try a herbal remedy for mild water retention, just to see if it does help. I really appreciate your support, I am honestly so flattered that you and many others choose to watch my journey. You are all so special ❤️

Hi Denise, I think the reason a lot of people do well on sp is they naturally eat a lower carb diet when they cut out the pasta, rice, potatoes etc. But if you replace those foods with a lot of fruit then you're not eating a low carb diet and should expect to see the same results as non-sp. That's just my take on things. You did great to have a loss every single week. Well done 👏👏👏

Hi Janice, thank you for watching. I was in a complete calorie deficit and despite carbs or not, calories are king. I’m not sure what my body is doing right now, but I wonder if it is related to stress as well. I will continue to do my usual thing, save myself some money and enjoy my food more 😊 here’s hoping I can get my 5 stone award very soon!

Oh Denise, I know how disappointing it can be when be when you don't get the loss you have hoped for. I do know other people who have done SP and the scales have not given them more than 1lb loss. I think some peoples bodies react differently to others. I am sure your consultant has offered you some advice but if I can help in any way please drop me an email. 1lb is still good and 14 weeks at 1lb a week is a stone. The slower it comes off the easier it will be when to maintain when you get to your target. Again, I have seen people lose around 4 stone and then struggle to carry on. You have done so well and I know you have the determination and will power to get where you want to be. You and James are a great team, we are all here for you, take care xx🥰

Hi Kim, thank you so much for your encouragement. I have seen others lose nothing or 1lb or even gain - very disappointing indeed. I have tried to not let it get to me too much, but do feel the last month has been the hardest so far and tough to accept little to no losses when I’m still as heavy as I am at over 16 stone! Seeing people 3-4 stone lighter than me lose 2-4lb a week is tough right now. I don’t give in, but I have to shift my mindset a little just now, some things are making me upset or sad more than they should but I think it’s just how I’m feeling overall. Thank you so much for supporting me and giving me advice as always, I really appreciate you and your knowledge ❤️ xx

@@ScottishFoodieLassieHi Denise, I really do feel for you and know exactly where you are coming from . It is awful when you have done everything correctly and you don't get the loss you have hoped for. I know this because it happened to me and regardless of what is said to you it still is hard to take on board and know that it will be alright in the end. I used to see others losing more than me and I was running 3-4 a week plus doing other activities as well as sticking to plan 100 %. We are all different and as Andy always says to me "Paddle you own canoe" 🙃 don't worry about others and just concentrate on yourself.So many people give up when the seem to hit a bit of a plateau. I know you won't give up though. It is just a case now that you have lost so much weight of finding what will work for you, I am sure your consultant will be able to help you and suggest what might help. Sending you a caring hug 🥰xx

I'm worried you are overthinking it , a lot of people that go to the gym stop losing even following SW , someone I know stopped the gym because of this, but you are still losing and toning so you are doing so well . Just chill and carry on ❤

Hi Jane, thank you so much. Disappointing but I won’t quit the gym, I only joined in December and it’s £30 a month - I do enjoy it but I have my limit of 3 times a week. My fitness has increased so much, which I know is really important for overall health. I just want to get my 5 stone award and get into the 15s. Consistency is the key. Maybe do a sp week every 6 weeks but otherwise just keep chugging along . Weight loss always slows down the more you lose. Not fair I know !
