I agree with the concerns about the Stengle issue. They should also be curious to know what it was that resulted in Stengle being unresponsive in a nightclub. The AFL imposes themselves on off-field issues in an inconsistent manner and there are certain issues it doesn't even want to know about.

Collingwood's 30th ranked is Fin Mccrae, and he's already played 8 games this year, so we've been up against it for a fair bit of the season so far (No 29, I've got Harvey Harrison, 12 games so far). Cheers!

The point of it that the people he’s spoke about have had success and want to jump ship when times are tough, or waterman who’s barely played through his entire career, has a few good games and wants to rewrite the contract. Not comparable to players in a higher end club that hasn’t experienced the low points like west coast or Richmond right now.

He said that you shouldn't believe media stories and when he says that you bring up a point reported and only clarified by guess who, the media! he said the quote that he'd stay in June and met with Mitchell nearly 2 months post his comments, insinuating that the rug has indeed been pulled out from under him. Kane you're smart enough to not let your emotions cloud your judgement but you clearly have here, calling Barrass and Waterman disgraceful for simply doing what all footy players would in their respective situations

Kane is half right, there’s absolutely no way Hinkley Will be our head coach in round one next year, but I sincerely hope he isn’t replaced by Josh Carr. Nathan Buckley, Leon Cameron, and Adam Simpson should be the first three people Port approach, and if all three of them say no, there’s still plenty of experienced assistant coaches with more convincing resumes than Carr.

He played under and coached alongside Alistair Clarkson and Adam Simpson, when you’ve learned from arguably the greatest coach of the modern era and another who’s been successful in his own right? I’d say you’ve got a pretty decent résumé. Carr on the other hand it’s being mentored by someone with a less than 25% winning record against top eight teams in the regular season and a losing finals record, and he’s only other stink as an assistant coach was a brief stay at Fremantle under Justin Longmuir.
