If you are looking at a Civic Si, this will be the same price. Most Acura dealers have several MT in stock and discount, while if you can find an Si, there will be an ADM. Plus you get a Hatchback, more features and a longer warranty.

Bought a 2024 Integra ASpec Tech earlier this year in the dark grey. Very sharp looking car and enough power for day-to-day driving. Also great mpg. Plus, not a lot of other hatch/lift back options in a smaller car if that’s what you want. I like it a lot. I’ve driven a 2024 Civic hatch and the Integra is definitely nicer in terms of interior quality and feel. But agree with others that it’s probably not quite better enough than the Civic to justify the added cost for most people. I don’t like the tacked on infotainment, gloss black trim around the shifter, no spare, no rear vents. Good thing about them not selling well is you don’t see them around much so you get a distinctive looking ride😂 Problem with Acura overall I think is they aren’t truly luxury so they just don’t differentiate enough from Hondas.

The only real improvement that I'd suggest to Acura is slightly less cabin noise -- it's not noisy, but definitely a bit louder than you expect from Acura. No regrets on my purchase. Why not the S-Type? You lose a couple of key features, but really, for me, it was the drop-off in fuel economy along with the additional cost.

Manuals were always the default transmission relegated to base and lower optioned vehicles. Now these shysters offer/market the less expensive manual transmission as a "step up/more prestigious option when in reality it's just the opposite. The deception and lack of customer concern is so pervasive and pathetic these days! I personally love driving a manual and it's a shame they are being phased out.... almost completely because very few people care about driving dynamics any longer and the fact that most of the population is too lazy to learn how to drive one. There companies mantra is to appeal to the masses and damn the individualist types who look at a car as something other than an appliance.
