I want to try this too but not count the basic outfit as points. Just accessories and coats, scarves, belts and jewelry. I’m a plain Jane and got some really cool things thrifting this year but I need to take the time to get them out and not just run out the door. I think a tan rain trench like a London Fog would’ve been great with the first outfit.

I think my outfits are either 3 points or 20 with no inbetween

for your brown skirt issue, i suggest a getting a slip! they’re super easy to thrift (either a dress or skirt slip) and in the winter i like to use leggings! they’re an undergarment, so i don’t think they’d count as a point

Brown skirt, dark body suit and cropped jacket! Keep the jewelry and add a hat for an extra point. ❤ I really like leaning less into jewelry to “top up” points and think about belts, scarves, hats, elaborate hair clips, outerwear, etc.
