Flipping Clothes That Don't Fit Me So They Fit Me

I started this video with the idea of tackling 4 projects but I only managed to finish 2.
I also started this video over a month ago... Anyway, it is here now.
I have a skirt that doesn't fit anymore but I still love the feel and print of, so i decided to try modifying it so it would fit. This was a very simple alteration but it worked quite well.
I also wanted to thrift flip a top that I bought too large for me because i had a feeling I would be able to make it work.
I've said it before, but all you need is basic sewing skills to make things fit you properly :)

The background music seems just a touch loud, making it a bit hard to hear the dialogue. I noticed it while watching on TV. It's not as noticeable on my phone.

Darts or gathering might have worked on the front and back of the blouse. It might have needed trim depending on how well it turned out.

The leftover skirt fabric could go on a matching blouse or t shirt.

​@pigeonart I've only just seen you hold the whole skirt up against you, but am thinking it might be enough to do a little sleeveless or tank style top? But looks like it could be a bit short - maybe adding a matching (or contrasting) strip of fabric at the bottom.
