Fact#1: Remember that fact where Olimars final smash would kill him on saffron city? I accidentally killed myself with it in fourside. I could be remembering wrong, but I know for sure I wasn't on saffron so that must mean it's possible on at least one other stage. Fact#2: If Kirby uses his stone at extremely high percent and makes contact with Wii Fit Trainers windbox from sun salutation, he will be flung to the side, even killing him if he adds the vertical momentum from coming out of the rock. Two Wii Fits can actually play catch infinitely this way, as he won't be forced out for some reason.

A small fact Some characters like simon and ike hit the ground with his weapons in some taunts. If they are standing on water like in delfino plaza fountain of dreams and some variations of tortimer sland the water will splash similar to how it splash when a character lands on it

6:15 I think many instances of on screen character models are actually in game entities. You can see this in mods there things can happen to the models despite not being in combat. For example, in Vishera's mod where characters randomly explode, characters will explode even on the victory screen. I've seen this behavior in previous games too. Edit: Another possible occurrence of this is in the shooting minigame in the spirit board. I've seen a hack that spawns in the special blaster and anyone shot by it will be KO'd with the special zoom. This leads me to believe that minigame is also running a modified instance of the game. Vish's exploding mod would probably work here too. Obviously these are done with hacks so it's not hard evidence, but it's very likely this is what's happening.

Yep! I tested this on mementos and it worked. the beetle held king.k.rool for a few seconds on the ceiling before king.k.rool broke free, then the beetle broke.

Just tried it on Temple. Yes it breaks and falls down if you wait long enough. If you mash out however while on the ceiling the Beetle explodes on the ceiling instead of falling down first.

His model is always 3D, actually - the model is flattened at the end of the animation process. That's why his model functions when being thrown (though seeing him animate like a normal character is cursed as shit). The metal coating's reflection is applied to the original 3D model, so it looks like light is reflecting off a sphere.

Another thing about that dinosaur game I learned is if you release down when you are fastfalling, your vertical speed gets reset. So if you tap down really quickly, you can extend the time you spend in the air.

That fact about the beetle breaking was pretty cool and I never really actively noticed it before! However I feel like the video sort of implies that you would never see that animation outside of very unique circumstances like being extremely heavy or having an extremely large top blast zone. If the beetle gets stuck underneath any part of the stage geometry, it won't be able to rise further and will break if the player is unable to mash out of it after a certain amount of time. Also, in case anyone was wondering, you can't pick up the broken beetle item. I tried.

In the Chrome dinosaur game, if you click outside of the window or the search bar while you're in midair, the game will pause, and when you click back, you'll instantly warp down to the ground. This can be useful at extremely high speeds when your horizontal speed is too great to make it to the ground to jump over an obstacle.

However, Ice Climbers do chance their stance, and swap which hand the hammer is in. When you're playing Classic or in an Items Tourney, it's bad enough when a crate spawns the moment you press A (see Sherwood[?] getting Donkey Punched by Ninkendo on Ken's channel). It's even worse when your opponent lays down a Party Ball with a Smash Ball and an explosive as you're charging an F-Smash, and you don't even get to take the Final Smash to the grave with you. Regarding the dinosaur game: if it’s blocked by an administrator (such as at some schools like my middle school), asteroids will appear and the dinosaur’s eyes will grow wide. You won’t be able to play obviously, but I don’t think this is very widely known.

Here’s one I accidentally discovered Pokémon trainer has a 2-3 second cooldown on switching Pokémon, but this cool down can be cancelled by using a special move. However, this tech doesn’t work in squad strike. I think this might have something to do with Pokémon trainer being off screen. When the trainer is on screen he does an animation each time a Pokémon does a special, which cancels out the animation of the switch in a normal match (this is causes the cooldown to cancel) But when pt is off screen, the game doesn’t play that animation, it just has the timer.

Small Fact: You can use your Amiibo's skin. If you go into smash and choose the same character as your Amiibo (for me it was Dk so I chose Dk) and use the skin your amiibo usually has on, and than put your amiibo into the match your amiibo will switch to a different skin. I found this while trying to find a way to have 2 of the same characters use the same skin.

I found a really weird thing in training mode. If you play as Piranha Plant and hit the opponent with the chomp you do when eating ptooie (not the ptooie ball) the combo counter turns red, implying it is an item. If you hit the opponent with any single-hitting moves while the counter is still up, it stays red, but if you hit with a multi-hit move, then the counter turns back to black. It’s kinda hard to get consistently though, but I did try it with both Ridley and Little Mac and it worked both times, so it’s not a character exclusive thing.

at around 9:27 you used rest as a example of a sleeping opponent to test with kamikaze but rest and sleep are two different things, rest is just a unique animation and i think it would have a much better chance of changing if you used the actual sleep effect
