I want to see you do all of behringers distortion pedals in a metal context with full balls to th wall gain dimed out and no overdrive rock n roll or blues sounds...to finally be able to see what they are capable of.

I like how you said you need an extreme guitar for such an “Extreme" pedal, while I plug a Telecaster into it and use it for much less distorted types of music. To be fair that shows this thing's versatility.

I recently started using my Boss MetalZone pedal recently that I bought in the 90's in the FX loop since my midi channel switching has busted on my amp and oh mannnnnnn....It is beautiful! Glad I kept it all these years.... yes it sucks in front of the amp... but I remember that wasn't the case in the 90's with my old H|H amp that I used with the Mt-2. Strange....

I've just bought one as a backup because my Boss MD is a little broken. My aim is to use both as preamps directly into a (harley benton SS) poweramp. First try both sound the same and i have no problem gettting the correct amount of bass or definition. I play mostly punk rock and hardcore punk when using amps. Some years ago I used the mega distortion as a preamp through the poweramp of a valvestate in which the dirt channel started to fail. It did sounded good live. So i care about this two pedals more as preamps than as distortions through another amp. Using an overdrive, distortion or booster before is also good.

I have a few Behringer pedals and aside from the plastic casing, I love them. The UM300 is a great MT2 clone and paired up with the EQ700, you can get some great sound from it. I'm waiting on the TM300 right now, but I plan on snatching a few more up as I find them.

Dude, tall ya a trick i just learned. My sister got me a 50 dollar usb mic from a company called Tonor. Its just like a high quality mic, just usb. I put it in front of my amp and recorded. best volume and sound i have ever gotten. i ha to turn it down. it screamed. I have one of these setups where i have 3 or lines from the same guitar running into a 8 track and a couple other things. So i can record a track with no effects and different tracks with different effect, one with the tonor mic, one with some kind of cab, one just a line in from the amp or something. So, later i can play with it. 50 bucks, just try it. You want to get olume on a mobile device? hahahaha it screamed. Then we can hear that krank and mesa cab. I like it a lot better through a real speaker. I cn plug it into a lap top and do a video with just the web cam, and have killer sound. killer. best volume i have ever gotten and ive tried it all.

I would say that since it sounded worse in the effects loop than the front of the amp the pre-amp tubes of the amp was giving it most of the tone. If it was a good pedal it should have sounded much better in the effects loop without the pre-amp tubes coloring the tone. But hey what do I know? I could be totally wrong...........
