A common query I often get and is one of the most searched doubts on the net, in regards to protein absorption is, “how much protein can we eat in a go before it gets wasted?”
One of the top myths is that the body cannot absorb more than 30grams of protein in one go. Anything consumed beyond that in one sitting will go waste. This means a marathon runner, and a bodybuilder’s body will absorb protein at the same rate.

I just had 400 g of chicken breast along with 2 roti and bit of daal .. Big meals did wonders to my physique as tiny meals don't suffice my appetite Since I started eating two big meals I am getting good results

Sir, can I eat half kg fish in breakfast which is around 100 gm protein. Will it go to waste I'm 21 year old skinny fat male and I'm recommended 2.4gm protein per kg and i weigh 75kg and I'm 6ft tall.

Yes this is myth. Extra protein means extra calories (1gm =4 calories) convert into fat.aur jada important ye bhi he ki without insulin spike koi absorption nhi hoga. Daily total protein intake is more important. Otherwise people on intermittent fasting wouldn't have been able to build muscle and gain strength.

Turns out that it takes 1.5 hours for viscous liquids (e.g. a whey protein shake) to pass through the section of the gut that can actually absorb it...So at this time it can only absorb around 10 grams of protein(from 30 gram plain whey protein)the rest is wastage...My question is how do we increase the protein absorption while taking whey protein
