You don’t need a bike at all. You WANT one! Buying the one you need smells like a buying another one within a year.

I'd seriously consider one of these. I'm not as young and strong as I was so think this would be the most likely upgrade for me. Currently riding a sub 200cc farm bike which will do the speed limit here.

To all KZbin testers , take bike out on a off road trail on your own , drop bike on a hill , or in a river crossing , show us how possible a 195kg bike can be lifted whilst in boots and jacket , Any bike is easy to ride once moving …it’s all about being able to lift up a dropped bike or manoeuvre a bike from a narrow single trail dead end . Cheers

One of the reasons I keep hesitating about buying the CF as I do ride on my own. My little XT250 is easy to pick up and I fall off pretty regularly as the green lanes in the U.K. are relatively short, often muddy and usually contain a small element of something slightly technical. If we had long off road stretches which are more like gravel forest roads, it would be a no brainer. I’ve had the XT on top of me a couple of times where it’s pinning me against a wall, or bank and though it only weights 130Kg, which I can dead lift in the gym as a warm up, when it’s on top it’s hard to get out from under it. If the CF remains upright it’s fine, but I know I’m going down at some point.

That was a loaner bike, so we’re not dropping it because we want them to loan us bikes in the future. But if you’re really worried about that, then maybe a dual sport is for you. I wouldn’t take the MT450 through any of the river crossings near me. And I’ve done 30 km in a hectic riverbed alone on my WR450. We’ll be coming out with a dual sports vs MT450 video soon. Subscribe if you want to see that one!

Surprised there was no mention of the Himalayan 452 which appears to be a direct competitor.

Someone mentioned there’s an ECU upgrade that can be done. I guess it’s aftermarket, but I don’t know.

There's an over the phone software update. Also, tighten the throttle cables. Lastly, the more kilometers you put, the better it gets.

Are you telling me that it is not going to be as comfortable as a Goldwing nor it is going to be as maneuverable as a 300 2 strokes ? Than it is garbage !
