Another great comparison Jackie. I recently add to my kit the 33mm f1.4 wr and I taught I won’t need it because I already had the 23mm wr and the 56mm, but I love all of them. 23mm for group or street photography,33mm for portraits and video and 56mm for portraits and long shots

I had the same lackluster results when comparing the X-T3 to the X-T5, things just looked mildly better on the X-T5. However, pixel shift can make a notable difference with a sharp lens. If you back up far enough to the point where text becomes a mess of unreadable blobs with 40mp, pixel shift can make them legible. 🙂

Nice comparison! The difference is not that big at first glance, but if you add a bit of sharpness to both, you will see a slightly bigger difference.
