I love my jfj and have yet to find a disc i cant fix. Here is MY Method Sand with C pad for 20 seconds Sand with S pad for 10 seconds Polish # 2 for 2 minutes. Polish # 1 for 1 minutes. Also you dont need to use that much polish at all, just a dot on both sides smeared around is enough. Youll use more of the compound #1 than #2.
@christianna35615 жыл бұрын
I have had my machine for years and love it! Once you get a feel for the machine you can get every disc to a flawless mirrorlike finish. One simple tip is to make sure you let the discs cool down after you run them in the machine. Once they are cooled down, you will not have the issue of added more scratches when you are removing the excess polish.
@MrArchos5045 жыл бұрын
i have one of these. You need to use the Coarse sandpaper first, then the soft one. Also i clean the machine after every use.

I had 2 of these i use to run at the same time... great value Upgraded to the Ecopro2, never looked back!! now have 2 of them. But i will say for very very deep scratches, the JFJ is good for that.

I have had mine for almost 10 years.. I love it. I don't use the sandpaper anymore.. I also use Turtle Wax rubbing compound it is a lot cheaper.

@@Jackblyness73 yes....works great I don't use any of their compounds or sand paper anymore..

Actually if you'd taken your time it could've very well repaired the disc. It needed more sanding time........and then more polishing time.

Unfortunately, that damage is not what you see on disks. I would like to see this machine work one NORMAL scratching, not intentional destruction.

It cleans normal scratches even easier and quicker, thats why I brought it to the extreme. Its honestly a great machine

Didn't take long to conclude that it would be a positive result, after seeing how many supplies you bought, etc ;). Machine looks good, and for a fair price. I was thinking "I could make this myself, it looks simple", but then, for the price I am not sure if that be worth it either.
