Does The Lew's Classic Pro hold up after 6 months???

I got this reel a month ago and wanted to see how they hold up. The only thing I do not like is the numbers on the dial wear off easily as you said in your video.

i got the same one a few weeks ago but mine had small notches instead of numbers so i think they fixed it

When I use a jig I throw it out let it sink then pop it up twice and let it sink again and reel up my slack and usually they it in as it’s sinking back down, hope this helps

Look on the manual or paper that comes with the reel in the box look at the dial and remember the way the numbers go

The numbers and all graphics rub off of all the Lew's reels. The really only negative about them. If you want you can take an electric engraving tool to mark them. I rarely have to move the setting more than a few clicks.

Is it better then the ABU Garcia black max just wondering because what people tell me. Work in a store I've been likeing the cheeper stuff around $100; or less. Well retail because I don't pay it but I her stuff how good stuff is working and with what and where. How come the young generation doesn't have good handling skills like the less you touch the fish the better the fish is with getting lass dazed on them from taking the slime off the fish and stop the lonching them into the water. Good that catch and release is still a good thing. Great catch
