I think your review is spot on! I just started using Curlsmith after Shea Moisture and Mielle. To me these products need to be used together and I also don't like crunchy hold. My hair is 3c/4a so hold is important but love love love.. especially later on in the week and even after I work out. I just followed you and hope to see more great honest content.

So glad I came across your video. You are one of the few people that didn’t necessarily down the product but gave an alternative opinion. When I tried it I felt the same way but considering I’m low porosity as well it makes sense. We prob wouldn’t notice much difference unless we messed up our hair completely but I did notice some improvement. It’ll prob be noticeable after more uses. When comparing the price/size to Olaplex and the fact that this repairs 3 bonds instead of 1, I feel it’s definitely worth it. Great video/review. New subbie btw!!

The best review of curl smith I’ve seen so far! Thank you for your honesty and thorough review. I just started using curlsmith, a gift from my daughter ( I wouldn’t be able to afford it) but so far, I like the product. I tried it on my grand daughters hair and it did a good job. I think, as you said, that continued use will tell the whole story. I’m in for it.

So, first of all, thank you for your honesty. I started my natural hair journey about 3 yrs ago but I was constantly cutting and restarting because it always looked dry and husky. Anyway, I live in Guyana so hair products are limited, i buy on amazon and it is shipped to Guyana via Miami. Added to my ignorance about porosity and textures, it was difficult and I spend too much money on products already. I have tried numerous hair products but none i really liked. I have low porosity hair and wanted an honest review on curlsmith on low porosity hair. Since i am looking for one specific line to stick with, your video is truly appreciated

Annnd I’m so glad you talk about how you like your hair styled. I have had all these products for a while and they do do what they say, but I like weighed down hair, it’s not for me on a regular basis, but doesn’t mean it doesn’t work. And besides ppl not even using products right 👀 ppl forget, styling is a preference

Let me tell you, I have been using Olaplex#3 for about 2 years..,love it!!! I also love Aveda products. I purchased the Curlsmith products today, being very careful not to buy the line that had protein. Since you can really do some damage if you don’t know how to read your hair and know when protein is needs!

Olaplex and Curl smith bonding treatments are not the same. They aren't even comparable. So all the video's y'all are seeing side by side are just a waste of time. Both are great for the hair. But y'all can't keep getting confused when it comes to the make up of Olaplex and other bonding treatments. This isn't for you Simone, love. Just clearing up for others. Now I'm not about to sit here and write y'all a book. Just do y'all research please. Having both on your shelves would be just fine.

Oh and I know a Fanola fiber fix bottle when I see one, lol. Fanola is my favorite color-treated hair or virgin hair salon brand of all time, period. When it comes to the shampoos, conditioners, and treatments it's everything, to me. Top two styling brands for me, my staples are Curl Smith moisture line, and the Living proof curl line. Anything else is not needed for me. You also stated you feel like your hair just isn't how it used to feel, try either Fanola Nutri-care spray leave-in mask or L'anza trauma leave-in treatment. L'anza is more so expensive.

Hi, I'm a new subscriber and I have a big question that never gets answered. I'm a latina girl who has curly hair, and I am the only person in my family with curls. I don't have a lot of money for products so I was wondering if you think it would be OK if I used box braids as a protective style, I know that braids and cornrows were used in the past for people of color to protect their hair and I wouldn't want to culturally appropriate the hairstyle. I just don't know what to do anymore...
@SimoneNicole3 жыл бұрын
Hey girl! Thank you for asking and for wanting to make sure you are respectful. I don't personally care if you as a hispanic women gets box braids, however I do not speak for all black women. So while I wouldn't care, I can't say the same for the next black women. Its a complex issue, and a complex answer.. But I thank you for opening the conversation!

I’m not sure about this brand as I was surprised to find that some of their products contains sodium hydroxide in the ingredients, it’s the main ingredient used in hair relaxers that makes the hair straight as well it’s the main ingredient for drain cleaners or unclogging drains, I don’t know what else they use let’s not forget Deva curls disaster, do your research and don’t use products before checking the ingredients and that’s what I do as well there are certain products that contain ingredients which transfer to formaldehyde when you use them, mostly found in tresemme so watch out as this brand or others could do the same.. If you don’t believe me check Curls Smith wash & scrub detox pro-biotic shampoo ingredients and it’s not the only one, sodium hydroxide cause cancer, skin irritation and hair loss and more..

Gotta say that there are a ton of products & steps being used. I neither have the money nor the time for all of that . Can’t the routine be simplified a bit
@leetrader95763 жыл бұрын
Girl, you are talking about a 200.00 wash and go! IMO, we don't need all those layers upon layers... we need to properly keep our locks moisturized and I'm sorry, I do love these products, but seriously if you have the time, try the DYI flax seed gel. This simple inexpensive gel is better than any product for sale out there. I am a product junkie and I really am starting to think its a disorder, because I know this - YET, I still have to have ALL these products... go figure.
