When Paul Malin was on it in his day, nobody in the world could beat him. He showed it time and again. One of the best motocross racers of all time. Doesn't matter if he won 5 or 10 CHAMPIONSHIPS. Everts nor anyone else could beat him on a day that he was full on and healthy.

Having qualifying points is like making it a 3 moto race that they tried back in 80 or 90''s. 10 points and payback to 10th place sounds like to many points to disrupt the championship. Should only only be 3 or 5 points and payback to 3rd place.

I don't like the qualifying points. These guys race so many rounds as it is, this is just creating more opportunities for riders to get hurt. Did the fans ask for this or is it the people running the sport trying to get more people watching qualifying? This feels like them trying to squeeze more money out of the series.

@Josh Smith Exactly what I was going to say. After the top riders refused to race the qualifying race in Ernee last year, I think MXGP thought of a way to stop them from doing that again, and this is what they came up with. Don't ride the qualifying race, kiss your championship hopes goodbye. Effectively forcing the riders to race every qualifying race.

@Josh Smith this is exactly when I thought when MXGP announced qualifying races will now have point towards the title. Literally the opposite of what the riders want. And I forgot about the race where all the riders went on strike.

I like it. If your starts are bad go practice starts for a week straight till you figure it out.deegan couldn't get a start for his life,they worked on it hard for weeks now he's holeshotting every heat and main lately.mud race excluded if a 17 yr old kid can figure it out surely a febvre,herlings ect can also.even tomac figured them out c'mon mane
