I like this explanation, but have a follow up question, you use the expression "glue the two together", and it works really well in this example, but only when this is as an insert? As in, generally we're taught that Reverb/effects etc, work better on the whole as sends, in which case, how would you achieve that same 'glue' with the reverb on it's own send bus? Thanks

Hi Gregor! Love your videos. Very useful and nicely presented. I had a question that I thought you might have addressed in the past. Maybe it, but I can't find it. The issue is I use Studio One from two locations that I travel between. I have S1 installed, as same user ID, on machines in both areas. It would be great to have S1 dynamically access the same song data from either location -- edits made on one install would show up in the other. I have considered using MS OneDrive but I have latency concerns. What's the best way to achieve this type of sharing? (I presume there are others who might like to do this.)

🙏🏼 1. Post insert in all channels or Grid/column insert mode 🙏🏼 2. Peak Value Display on Mixer level meter. These are the 2 basic things lacking for me coming from Pro Tools. It's tidious using level meter plugin on all 100+ channels

Cool, I always just put effects like chorus, flanger etc at the end. Put limiters ,compression, Fat Channel first... Im in a rot I guess. I can see I need to do some experimenting with this... As always, great video.....I just got an Atom controller, crazy good machine, learning the ins and outs, fun!!

Hey Gregor! I bought Studio One Pro for 300 something bucks and I'm curious how it costs me $150 to upgrade to 7 but a new customer can get it for $200. Am I missing something?

Hi, I actually do have a video covering Podcasting in my playlist. It's a little bit of an older video, but the workflows are all still valid and relevant in Studio One Pro 7. Check it out: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gH-unq2Dj7Wga9k Hope this helps! -GBY

Why Studio One doesn't have autotune?

Useful video - however don't some plugins run in parallel and not in series (so the order makes no difference)?
@presonus3 ай бұрын
Hi Tim, an Insert chain processes in serial, no matter which plugins are inserted. The only exception to this that I can think of would be the Splitter Plugin - in which case, the processing would be parallel. But within each of these parallel streams, everything gets processed in serial once again. So, basically, we always need to be mindful of the order in which we apply our effects. I hope this helps! -GBY
