For me, the most interesting part of the video is from 06:30 to 06:33. If you look at the section frame by frame, you can see that the good vanes make the arrow start rotating immediately, while the bad vanes do not.

Considering that the action of the arrow while attached to the string is wholly controlled by the nock and spine of the arrow, I wouldn't expect there to be a difference between arrows with good versus damaged fletching at short range.

How about the nocks being looser on new arrows. Old arrows seem to maybe have tighter nocks to string

Hello, it would make my day if you could make a video on mk top end risers like XG, SD or S. Cheers!

Maybe you have to be at least 4 to 5 yards away to see a meaningful difference

A loooooot of talking, some clips of an arrow passing by in very slow motion, … not really learned a new thing as I expected. Vanes are used to stabilise the arrow flight. Filming vanes when the arrow is still on the string seems really useless to me. One very good way to tune your bow and arrows is by shooting blank arrows and comparing the result with “vaned” arrows. So a tuned bow will shoot blank arrows, badly vaned arrows and good vaned arrows almost identical.

I like the intent, but perhaps you could talk with your hands less….otherwise good effort.
