Adnan Rashid you should know that Jesus preached essentially from the ethics of the fathers commonly referred to Pirkei Avot...there were no gospels. Obviously post Yeshua memoirs by definition. It is a matter of post faith that Yeshua is the manifestation of the gospels, or IS the gospel ie the Good News...another issue more about faith than documentation.

As a Muslim revert I can say that to believe and follow Islam, is to give up all selfishness. I had to literally give up certain parts of my culture (Pork, liquor, Hispanic music, and even certain Traditions in Christmas). I will also say these are mostly the same reason why a lot of people choose not to embrace islam because they can't let these things go. Some even have status in the community of churches or even have whole ministries that they don't want to give up . But they also need to realize if God is calling then you must drop everything and leave it behind, if not then you are clearly being selfish.

i have watched a lot of church videos...i don't get the feel that god is being worshipped there...they only gather 1 time a week...also not at the dawn...probably at 9 am..after completing the full quota of sleep and having proper breakfast and tea...then inside the church it's just hugging one another...singing dancing and some motivational speech...that's it...as a muslim u understand what is worshipping god when u have to wake up at dawn...when u have to use the 10 minutes interval between classes to offer dhur salah...when u feel drowsy in the afternoon but u have to offer asr salat...then at sunset and and at night as well...also as no one paid for your sin u can't sin as u want..also ur income has to be halal...u have to abide by lots of thing and u realize what it means to worship god.

But usually subjective reasons, personal experiences, lack of education, atheism is easier, being mislead, laziness, presentism fallacy, constant bombardment by the media and the enemies of Islam demonising it, missionaries misrepresenting and lying about our teachings, ego, cultural reasons, infiltration of the Muslim community and deceptive tactics by Christian missionaries using the C5-C6 program, for money, for fame, Christians only offering help to people in poverty stricken lands like Africa and Iraq if they convert to Christianity, in Iraq the US army only handing out rations with bibles, western influences etc. There could be tonnes of genuine and non- genuine reasons. But the majority are weak reasons from my experience, and even fakes where Christians pretend to be ex-Muslims. I've exposed many online. But here's the thing, statistics show us that even with the apostasy rates, Islam is still gaining just under 450k people converting to it. However the same study shows Christianity is in minus figures by the same amount. So Christianity is losing more people than it's gaining -850k a year whereas Islam is gaining +450k converts a year, this includes the apostasy rates. Lol. Meanwhile atheism is going through the roof in Western lands. So instead of attacking Islam, maybe you should focus your efforts on why Christians shouldn't leave their religion.

There aren't 4 Gospels, Adnan, there's 1. Gospel means Good News and THE Good News is the SAME Good News in all 4 Gospels. The Good News is that God although we are all sinners, He loves people so much that He gave His only Son, Jesus Christ, so that whoever believes in Him, His death through which He made restitution for our sins, and His conquering death through His Resurrection from the dead, will not perish but have everlasting life. By God's grace alone we have been saved through faith. And this is not our own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast about himself, but only about God.

Now when the Prophet used the Word mans organ he did not use the literal Word. You have already been busted on this. Since you failed to compare Allahs direct word with the Bible, sure let us still compare Muhammeds word with the Bible. So lets compare it. Muhammeds word" let him bite on the male organ of his fathers for holding onto there old ignorant customs. Notice he didn't say Suck his organ(in sexual terms) rather bite it(off) Figurtivelly meaning let go of your fathers old customs since we come from the loins of our Fathers organ area. Meaning (bite it off) to seperate cut away from it. Further Samuel your translation in Miskat (is false) you lied to add word Penis explicitly the arabic does not use the specific word Penis in Hadeeth, rather the Arabic word used is( ha nd nu) which can mean that thing (Male Organ) hence its still toned down and Prophet Muhammed still uttered those words in a (Privart) manner, still respectable manner. Furthermore we know this bite means its Figurtively because, the Prophet also told us to hold onto the Religion with the Moulders of our Teeth. Meaning Hold onto it by the Strongest part of our Teeth. To Show us figuratively the Seriousness of Holding onto our Religion. So the same way" The Prophet Expressed Figurtively to let go of the Area you came from( Fathers organ)" Bite it i.e Bite it off let go" of your Fathers origins and Ignorant customs). And we can see this is a one off statement that abu bakr - abu bakr does not have a history of this. I know hamza yusuf touched in this in a class but I don't have the clip. I should have clipped it. He said Abu bakr did not have a history of comments like that or something to that nature. The point samuel misses here is hat we as Muslims don't say Abu bakr's alleged comment said in anger is INSPIRED. Samuel says that bible verse is inspired. As for me personally in my preaching and discussions I don't bring up that passage from the bible. I don't think it's something that we should be talking about too much as its sensitive and also we should be focussing more in the teaching of the the trinity idea and showing them that's a false and failed ideology. It's not even a biblical idea.

where do all of these Bibles come from and why the difficulty in defining what is a truly “inspired” word of God? They come from the “ancient manuscripts” (also known as MSS). CHRISTIAN SCHOLARS RECOGNIZE CONTRADICTIONS IN THE BIBLE (PART 5 OF 7): BEGINNING TO BE A LITTLE MORE HONEST This Bible (RSV) is the product of thirty two scholars assisted by an advisory committee representing fifty cooperating denominations” Let us see what these thirty two Christian scholars of the highest eminence backed by fifty cooperating Christian denominations have to say about the Authorized Version (AV), or as it is better known, the King James Version (KJV). In the preface of the RSV 1971 we find the following: [ ] “...Yet the King James Version has GRAVE DEFECTS..” They go on to caution us that: “...That these defects are SO MANY AND SO SERIOUS as to call for revision” We will note that every Gospel begins with the introduction “According to.....” such as “The Gospel according to Saint Matthew,” “The Gospel according to Saint Luke,” “The Gospel according to Saint Mark,” “The Gospel according to Saint John.” The obvious conclusion for the average man on the street is that these people are known to be the authors of the books attributed to them. This, however is not the case. Why? Because not one of the vaunted four thousand copies existent carries it’s author’s signature. It has just been assumed that they were the authors. Recent discoveries, however, refute this belief. Even the internal evidence proves that, for instance, Matthew did not write the Gospel attributed to him: “...And as Jesus passed forth thence, HE (Jesus) saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and HE (Jesus) saith unto HIM (Matthew), follow ME (Jesus) and HE (Matthew) arose, and followed HIM (Jesus).” (Matthew 9:9) It does not take a rocket scientist to see that neither Jesus nor Matthew wrote this verse of “Matthew.” Such evidence can be found in many places throughout the New Testament. Although many people have hypothesized that it is possible that an author sometimes may write in the third person, still, in light of the rest of the evidence that we shall see throughout this book, there is simply too much evidence against this hypothesis. This observation is by no means limited to the New Testament. There is even proof that at least parts of Deuteronomy were neither written by God nor by Moses. This can be seen in Deuteronomy 34:5-10 where we read: “So Moses....DIED... and he (God Almighty) BURIED HIM (Moses)... He was 120 years old WHEN HE DIED... and there arose not a prophet SINCE in Israel like unto Moses....” Did Moses write his own obituary? Joshua also speaks in detail about his own death in Joshua 24:29-33. Hasan Bytyqi since we (1) don't have the originals and( 2) there are many differences between the surviving manuscripts, we really can't say what the originals said. so it's not a lie. i have heard many new testament scholars say this, including scholars who are Christians. you might say that you personally believe that we have a good idea what the originals said, but that is a conjecture and not fact. the only way to be sure is to compare a surviving manuscript with the originals, which we don't have. the ending of mark and the johanine comma isn't a minor change but a major change, but guess it depends on what you call a "minor change". i assume you know that these verses were added to the new testament.

You might say , how do we know the earliest manuscripts which we have right now isnt the original ? Firstly , logic tells me that their scripture has been so easily corrupted already as we can see . Secondly , 4th century manuscripts are 300 years AFTER events of Jesus pbuh . Thirdly , we can see with empirical evidence that there has been more corruption of text in which Christians today are reading it as Words of jesus . Check out Matthew 28:19. Famous verse for Trinitarians right ? Baptise in father , son and holy ghost . But what they don't realise is, Eusabius , who was the founding father of the Church from 3rd century quotes the same exact verse ( 28:19) 17 TIMES WITHOUT mentioning Father and Holy ghost ! Just " in the name ". This is why the disciples of Jesus in the Bible only bapitized in the name of Jesus NOT the father and holy ghost . This is clear interpolation which has been added to support their doctrine .

So, the claim by missionaries that Allah is a deceiver for helping one of the Prophet’s from slaughter at the hands of evil, wicked people, these claims have no bearing on the passage historically. Islamic scholar, Maulana Muhammad Shaffi mentions in his commentary on the verse that Allah’s planning involved no deception: “In these verses the miraculous event of the Ascension of Sayyidna Isa (Jesus Christ) has been mentioned. ‘And they made a move’ refers to the evil designs of the Jews who planned to arrest him and to get him crucified. The next sentence i.e., ‘and Allah made a move’ refers to the plan designed by Allah Almighty to save his Prophet Isa (Jesus) from their ill designs. Let us begin with … translated as ‘and Allah is the best of those who make moves’. The word, makr in Arabic denotes a subtle and secret move or plan. If this is for a good purpose, it is good; and if this is for a bad purpose, it is bad. It's a false equivocation. When textual critics say "corrupted" it is not the same word in meaning as when Muslims say "corrupted". Just like how "cold" can both mean unfeeling and low-temperature. Why were they written in Greek? they were written in Greek because Greek was the language of scholarship at the time, Israel was under roman rule same as other parts of the world, Greek language was what was taught to the educated people, at the time most Israelites couldn't read Hebrew since majority were educated in Greek so the torah was even translated to Greek so they could read, it makes sense why the original Gospel were in greek, also early Christians saw it better to write in Greek because they wanted to spread the Good news to all corners of the world and since Greek was the most universal language at the time it was better they wrote in Greek, if today I decide to write a book and want it to go places where people don't know my language I will write it in English. The original manuscripts are at the Vatican in Rome, don't let your scholars lie to you do your own research and read all the holy books and pray to God to guide you to the right path. Sit down and the read whole of the quran also and get to know the true nature of your Allah.

As a translator, I can tell you that sometimes we have to add things between brackets so that the implied meaning in the original language is understood by the reader in the target language. Since here, the verse is talking to the prophet pbuh himself, the translator added his name between brackets.

So the qur’an doesn’t ONLY talk about the bible and the prophets. We must believe in the original revelations and not deny their original existence. This is to confirm belief in the concept of revelation and the sanctity of the previous prophets. As for application and preservation, those scriptures were sent for specific people for specific times. They were not meant to be for humanity or eternity. Hence, they did not need preservation once they had served their purpose. The Quran is applicable until the day of judgement. Hence, the necessity to preserve it. Allah bless you :)

Adnan says that Christians have "Gospels" and there should not be many Gospels and there should be only one Gospel which allah gave. He is absolutely wrong. In quran the gospel is called "injeel". Injeel is the arabic transliteration of the Greek word "euovangelion" which means "good news" in Greek. Injeel is not an original arabic word. What is the plural form of the word "news"? It can be used to either mean a single good incident or multiple good incidents, i.e. singular or plural depending on the situation, it is not a big deal. Also Mark, Luke, John and Mathew are different versions of the same good news, that is why Christians called them "Gospel according to Mark", "Gospel according to John" etc. Adnan gives a contrived explanation saying that quran mentions "the gospel", and fails because he doesn't even know what gospel means. Adnan is either ignorant or he is deliberately making contrived lies.

What you are missing is, the total Message of Jesus is missing. All the words of Jesus in the NT are as long as 2 page column content. That is it. The whole Jesus life in the Bible is limited to 3 years. We are talking to supposedly God man here and you don't have his life except of 3 years. And for these 3 years, you don't have straight report but one that tells 4 different contradicting versions. Christianity is not the Religion of Jesus. It is the Religion of those who attribute it to Jesus. Jesus was no Trinitarian. He was Unitarians so were his disciples. He was Torah abiding so was his disciples.

The Bible explicitly mentions that Jesus started his public ministry when he was 30 years old. All that Jesus thought that was relevant to be shared with mankind, he taught in the 3 years before his crucifixion. Christians have absolutely no reason to doubt that some teachings of Jesus are missing. That's why when someone raises such a doubt, it seems so far-fetched to us. So, what are your reasons? The supposed Bible contradictions, most of them have been reconciled by new testament scholars. The reasons to conclude that the Gospels are true are so much more that these minor contradictions are considered insignificant. Jesus was God and man but he didn't make his life public. Just imagine what would have happened if he had? Whenever he revealed his divine nature (through miracles or his words) it caused a controversy and the jewish leaders and romans would try to kill him. Ofcourse Jesus had the power to annihilate all his enemies with a word. But that was not his goal. It was not his goal to flaunt his powers and become an earthly king. So Jesus lived a secretive life, not stirring up controversy as far as possible (though sometimes he did cause controversies because the truth had to be told, and the ultimate one was his resurrection). He very rarely mentioned about his divine nature and about the trinity, and when he mentioned it, it was in a cryptic manner that only his disciples understood clearly only after his resurrection by contrasting Jesus's words against the old testament prophecies. (That is why people ask the question "where did Jesus say "I am God worship me"")
