We could win the division with our 3rd string qb. I want to see 60 yard field goals and punts down inside the 10. Our defense could be the best in the league.

No, they need another receiver. I feel Carr is better than average but he needs a goo slot receiver.

@@dl9232 your looking at skewed data. Carr has been padding stats his whole career. That's a fact. Most comebacks by a QB . Because he's always behind?
@dl92324 ай бұрын
@franciscopomar2942 Most comebacks because he's played on a team that had historically bad defenses who constantly gave up leads. The only quarterbacks in NFL history who have thrown for more touchdowns than Carr have/had been in the league for more years. Detroit fans were saying the exact same thing about Matt Stafford. He is a stad-padding statue in the pocket who will never win a playoff game. They were saying that for years. Then, after 12 years of no playoff wins, he goes to a very good team with a very good coach and wins a Super Bowl.

@@dl9232 maybe they had the worst historical def because Carr couldn't get first downs and the def would get tired. Sound plausible because last year he did the same crap here couldn't get 1st downs when we needed them

I am getting very tired of hearing these guys say that Carr is an average QB. He's better than that, and it's asinine to keep making that statement.

I agree 100%. MVP votes in 2 different seasons (2016/2021), 4-time pro bowler, holds nearly every single franchise quarterback record with the Raiders, 1 of only 4 players in NFL history to throw for over 35,000 yards in his first 9 years, and on the all-time NFL qb lists in multiple categories, but he's just average?

@@michaelmartin4366 he's actually below average, right average would be maybe 16th he's 20th yep below average. And what we saw last year in the last 5 games..well that's his ceiling that's the best he will ever be.

Has no one asked (off the record) why the Saints appear to have zero interest in Hunter Renfrow? I’m sure DC would want him on the team, why don’t the coaches or front office? He can’t be asking for any real money at this point.
@dl92324 ай бұрын
He's too small, injury-prone, and doesn't fit the profile of the type of receiver we need. We need more of a bigger-bodied, possession type receiver. Don't get me wrong, Renfrow is a route technician, and I enjoy watching him play.

Go ahead and watch or rewatch some Drew Brees highlights. He did the same thing constantly. Drew just had more time thanks to his top 10 offensive lines. It's literally known around the league that Carr is one of the fastest "processors" in the NFL. They even said it during the broadcast of the last preseason game.👍🏿💯⚜️
