@realfortin A great secret for this is to snip the sharp ends off of the jerky before vacuum sealing! It’s not the bag that leaks, it’s the bad food saver thin seal. We have a chamber vacuum sealer and have no problem at all with plain bags.

@ohhforfucksake not so. If you pack enough eventually you'll have bag failure with the 3mil bags. It doesn't take much to create even a tiny puncture and that's enough. Thank you for watching! @@scottnra ​ Being a shill doesn’t make it so, or get you subscribers. Any bag will puncture if something pointy pushes against it hard enough. I have zero problems with standard cryovac bags, which are even thinner than food saver bags.

@wemcal Nope, but seals breaking has more to do with the sealer than the bag. Bag punctures come from cheap bags and cause the vac seal to be lost. I've had no issues at all with the Out Of Air bags. I've recently purchased a VacMaster VP230 and am wondering between the VacMaster bags or the VacPak-It brand of bags. Is there a quality difference or do you think they are ALL made in the same factory with a different label on the package?
