I think the biggest key to the Wolves is always having one of Edwards or Randle on the floor. They both can score in Isolation. If the offense breaks down Edwards and Randle give you a chance at a score or drawing a foul.

There's no point in trying to trade Randle. I'd say ride it out this season. At best you'll just get a good role player for Randle alone. Won't be the difference. Ya'll under estimate how valuble it is to have a low post threat, espcially in the playoffs.

Love Ant but to expect him to make clutch and tough shots every games is not a winning formula. This team still misses too many potential easy baskets or fouls by not passing to gobert. Ant needs to utilize his teammates for the first 42 minutes, and then he can take over in the last 6 minutes.

Don’t agree. Gobert is horrific on offense. His hands are stones. I saw him miss a 3 inch shot yesterday. He’s a tragedy. Ant needs to get into. Early flow. Too often he either takes too many shots early or he’s going into half time with 5 points on 6 shots. That’s not going to work. He needs to be active early, and Gobert needs to disappear with Randle. He’s awful.

@DefenderAO if you throw it to gobert, 3 things will happen, 1. Turn over, 2. Foul, or 3, he scores. If you put gobert on the Nuggets, they're in the finals. Ant scores 53pts and they lost to the pistons. Basketball is still a team sport. Ant can average 35 but the wolves will not win many games. By not passing to Rudy Ant is choosing to play 4 on 5. Keep your teammates interested for the first 42 minutes then turn it up the last 6 minutes.

@@khoulor5270 Big sis he's been doing that before these two games. He tries to get his team into the flow but they literally can't shoot for nothing. Hence why ANT had 53 against the pistons because no one could make a shot. He's been trying to keep them interested but they don't show up. Jaden barely shows up Rudy can't shoot Donte is hit or miss sometimes Julius is just tunnel vision loses track of the ball when he gets it. But this game they showed up hopefully this translates till the end of the season.

Randle is more likely to be traded than come off the bench. You want to keep his value high for either a trade or a contract somewhere else in the offseason so he declines his option.

I can understand starting Randle if it keeps him engaged. They just need to play Naz and Donte with Ant more to open up the halfcourt. Let Randle play bully ball with the second unit more. He can score in Iso when the offense breaks down. Perfect when Ant is resting.

DDV start with Conley off the bench is definitely a needed change, hope they stick with it. But what was also big in this game: Naz Reid had more minutes than Ju Randle. Naz creates similar spacing as KAT did, compared to Ju who clogs AE's paint.

Check the nba stats since ant called out himself and the team on the 28th. First two weeks after that we were absolutely killing it. Tougher schedule and some coasting since, but still pretty good.

Randle off bench. Go 4-on-5 on offense, have Rudy set top-of-key screen then go down to other free throw line. That way you have spacing, fast-break defense, and you don't have to watch Gobert play offense

DiVo assists less and does not have the same fit with Gobert as Conley does, but he is much more explosive in attack and in defense he improved a lot, this change was necessary although in that position I prefer to give minutes to Dilly

Keep Donte he seems actually happy here n9w after ant made sure to let him know he's wanted and to keep shooting. Trade Julius for butler straight up. He doesnt want to be in Miami anymore and i bet he would love to come back to Minnesota now that we actually have a team around him and couches. And truthfully Julius on are team just completely drains all are defensive aggressiveness and if he isnt getting the ball he doesnt play 100% and its a waste of a player tp even have him out there at this point.

This won't work. We need donte to do this off the bench with Naz reid. Naw fits better with the starters. In terms of immediate chemistry, and defensivley which is MOST IMPORTANT for MN. NOT OFFENSE. If Finch is shrewdly smart, he'll imediatley start NAW next game; and stick with it.

Donte is the better ball handler so playing NAW off the bench with Mike is the right move.

Donte deserves starter minutes. Hes just more impactful than naw. A great game for naw is 3/4 from 3 some rebounds but low assists for a guard. Donte can put up 20 every night, gets more boards and gets into the offense better than naw. 🤷🏽‍♂️

@@RealMr.T Donte is a SG. Ant is a SG. Having that as your back court ain't gonna work. Leading up this game, that lineup had by far the worst net rating of ANY lineup. And now I'm not one for all the "analytics", but its just more evidence to support my claim. That starting unit wont work.

Meanwhile Donte has much better chemistry with the bench unit, espcially now that Conley is there to orchestrate. Donte can have games like this off the bench. ironically, it'll be harder to get going in the starting unit for Donte. This game was just fortunate. Not a consistent winning formula.
