@@blakec8549 I put grab as L and jump at ZL short hop and press the triggers at the same time while holding up(to stay in place) or left or right depending on direction you wanna go. To get frame perfect for true combos you have to press both triggers frame 3 of your short hop

Just the let WaDi know: 1. Lucas can double jump cancel zair to do it very fast 2. That PK fire thing is called a wavebounce, and here’s how it works: There are two ways to reverse specials in this game: turnaround B and B-reverse. Turnaround B is holding the stick in the direction opposite the one you are facing before doing a special move and does not affect your momentum. B-reversing is flicking the stick in the direction opposite the one you are facing immediately after doing a special move and reverses the direction of your momentum. A wavebounce is B-reversing a special on which you have performed a turnaround B, resulting in you facing the same direction as before the special while still reversing your momentum.

The most important is just to exploit your time efficiently at the end of the day. You can play many hours, doing the same things over and over and not progress if you don't work on specific things. Yeah I don't get why the dair combos fail so often. It literally loops after 60-ish and confirms into f-smash. Even still I expect someone to eventually do a bunch of tech chase, platform and corner reset, type madness. That and mastering thunder multi-hits is what I think would be the gamechanger, not zair spam.
