I’ve played this game for over 8 years, I love it. There’s a place in my heart for this game no other game has. Despite the cheaters, it definitely feels like Ubisoft is lacking on the content. We use to get 2 new operators, and a new map every season. Now we get one operator with the same gun and the gadget isn’t that fair off another operators, and a map if we’re lucky. I do wish they would try harder on the content side because as of now it feels like they are letting the game die.

I like nighthaven labs and lair, I also like the favela rework, stadium bravo is much better after the rework but it's only just okay and that's in quick match. Emerald Plains is the bane of my existence, it is so fucking hard to get into that god damn building. The consulate rework is okay, like it's not bad, but it's not super good, the best way to describe would be "it's balance but has no personality," like imagine villa, you get a feeling from that, imagine chalet, there's a vibe associated with that map, nighthaven labs has a distinct image in your mind, but consulate rework just makes me imagine nothing, which I think reworks are good for the game, but they should be leaving in the old version for maps for quickmatch.

My main complaints with Siege over the last 5-6 years: 1. They balanced the fun right out of the game. I know that it is a competitive shooter. I know that there is a fairly successful Pro League tied to this game, and frankly, I personally like a solid 50-75% of the changes. I just love how in Ubisoft's infinite wisdom, they remove things like quick leaning just to create the plague that is crouch lean lean back crouch lean crouch when it was just lean lean lean lean. Both break the hitboxes but the crouch being added is significantly more cancerous. 2. A solid portion of their balancing decisions simply do not have anywhere near the intended effect. The last year and a half or so, Ubisoft has explicitly stated that they want to make the game slower, more tactical, bring it back in line with 2016-2018 time frame (an impossibility given that no one wants to play ops with meh guns but good gadgets because why would you handicap yourself?). Instead, I find myself, in emerald and diamond lobbies, constantly having one or two rounds on attack where the best strategy is blindly rushing towards site and fragging out. By any metric, that should not work in this game, especially because at times, Ranked 2.0 DOES work as intended and we're going against other similar emeralds and diamonds with comparable K/Ds and W/L stats. Because so many ops have been nerfed into the f*cking ground with their ability, it's far more enticing to pick an op with a good gun and just play it like it's CoD with drones and reinforcements. Also, I don't think Ubisoft realized what an issue removing cooking frags would be. It didn't make the game more tactical, it made it less so. Now, instead of being able to get a defender off of a pixel peek/power position, it's scurrying around trying to find a flank, when before I could just metaphorically say "git gud" and blow them up from below. They have made every single gunfight almost purely a gunfight, and not even a true R6 gunfight where the operators can really showcase their abilities half the time (unless it's a shield op - Lord willing, France will internally collapse), it's literally lock guessing how the enemy player is going to crouch lean crouch lean crouch. Boy, it's so much fun in higher MMRs having almost every gunfight boil down to a 50/50 chance. Wow, incredible. Love how they already had this figured out in 2016. 3. The game is a walking identity crisis (by walking, I mean drunkenly stumbling into the cabinet with the 120-year old china that you don't really want but your mom made you keep it as a hand-me-down so it's valuable but it's also in the way like a cripple at the airport). The devs just can't seem to figure out whether this game is a Rainbow Six game or if it's CoD and Overwatch with reinforcements and no respawns. I'm not one to rag on the cosmetics, but I'm about to rag on the cosmetics. I'm tired of every cosmetic being f*cking gay or just stupid (I don't mean gay as in just being homosexual, I mean why are they so damn tooty fruity). I'm sorry, I don't want to see Halo Spartans in Siege. I don't want to see Payday skins, or Dead by Daylight, I want to see dudes wearing multicam, Woodland, AOR 1 and 2, CADPAT, etc etc. Maybe some in blacked out kit, or maintenance jump suits as well. Hell, I'm fine with the wackier skins if the operators could at least be bothered to put on a plate carrier and helmet, or at least a chest rig like an ALICE system. The next time they have an event, they should add a mode where if your operator doesn't have a plate carrier on and they get drilled in the torso, they f*cking die. An armor system shouldn't be in the base game, but it would be fun as a reminder of "this isn't Overwatch". Those are my central complaints. Edit/P.S.: Mousetrap does nothing.

I have idea for new attack operator called alpha (let me know what you think) alpha has 3 attack dogs at his disposal they work like moving frost mats. Like demos in order to use ability you need to scan opponent. Once scanned you can send a dog to track down and attack the target, the target receives a growing or bark audio que when the dog is close. The dogs work like a frost mat. They immobilise you and you can free yourself from the dog BUT unlike the frost mat instead of putting you to 20 hp you will lose 20 hp per tick when the dog is attacking you including the time it takes to free yourself but a teammate can free you faster. The dogs have 2 uses each OR can be shot while travelling to the target but not when retreating back to alpha. This is basically a good op to track down roamers

It’s not the lack of content that’s the issue, it’s that R6 is unrecognisable to what it once was. I miss when the devs didn’t care about balance. Grenades should be OP because they are. Visual recoil should be a thing again and ADS speeds need to be quicker, none of this stupid lazer ads speed.

i just want the rank i earn to mean something again. i played 3 solo queue games yesterday. my first game i was in with a silver and a low platinum against 3 champions, a diamond 2, and a gold 4 i am emerald 1. i have only just managed to reach diamond this season for the first time and yeah it was a really cool moment to hit diamond but since ranked 2.0 I havent had a single game without a champion, keep in mind ive been an emerald player since ranked 2.0 came out and a mid plat player in old ranked. I just dont get the whole hidden skill thing, and if you try ask someone from ubisoft they will actively ignore you. I have had to contact support more times than Id like to admit because of xim players, people doing the old gen console glitch, and the fact that still I didnt receive my competitive coins. I love siege. no other game pulled me in as much as siege did when i started but i remember the days when ubisoft gave their creators rewards for reaching milestones outside of their game. now it just seems like they dont care about the fan base. idk man just give me ranked 1.0 back, or at least make my rank feel like i really earned it again.

What bothers me the most is: 1) they took out thunt. 2) gave us shooting range, which tbh is garbage at best. -you can't change if the dummies are prone, crouching or standing, nooo they either walk, run, or do jumping jacks. Like c'mon. The whole point of a shooting range is to practise small horisontal movements that occur naturally in the game when someone is holding an off angle. You flick, horisontally not vertically. Compare it to csgos imo best practise map (community made) where you are at a platform and bots spawn either idle or running towards you from 360⁰ or 180⁰ directions. And you can practise small horisontal "corrections". It blows my mind. When was the last time you needed to flick down or up in ranked. It does not happen often enough to be a problem. And then you even can't play free for all against bots. UBISOFT please use your braiiiiin😭

with the amount renown you got, if you were able to buy extra packs if you did the math right, couldn't you gotten r6 credits for free for the event or did they do the math on pack purchases to make sure you don't get free credits on pack refunds because I know they did it before with event packs. uk man i used to play siege when i was in school on my pc.The i shifted to consoles and i just couldn't play on them because it was too damn hard.Played apex for solid 3-4 years , played overwatch, played valorant, played all the versions of cod warzone.And i am back on siege now on console and cheaters aside this is the best tactical multiplayer game on the market .I see people complaining about the matchmaking a lot but uk what's bad matchmaking? go play 5 ranked games in apex just 5 max and you will realise how good siege matchamking is plus i get your view point on content but if you look at any pther game put rn they just straight up milkin the players they don't even bother working on the gamemodes it's just straight cosmetics which you have to pay with real money btw meanwhile siege allows you to use renowns.I am back on this game and i hope nothing happens to it when ubi goes down because i do not want to go back to all the other shit games out rn.

like come one, they said we know there is nothing like r6 and its one of our few games that is profitable(for ubi) and yet the greed got the best of them and they went to make Xdefiant and other games and at the same time making these games they clearly cut on r6 development budget and the team that was working on it they really try to make more money make more profitable games but this way of attitude just gonna cost them the r6 players. like Jynxzi hype train was biggest boost for the r6, most of the streamers hoped on r6 once again, even them after a while noticed the game is lacking content and it doesn't get the support it needs and it got repetitive for them, at this crucial time period ubi really needed to put every thing they had on r6 and yet again they bet of the dead horse and placed most of their resources on Xdefiant.

Does the flow of content really make or break a game? There’s been masterpieces of gaming (Breath of the Wild, Ocarina of time, far cry 3, portal, any DOOM game) that don’t receive content today or at all. Anifex i feel ya. Been playing this game almost since the very beginning. All maps should be night only, thunt should never been removed, new maps are always ass and so are map reworks. New operators are over the top imo, balancing is something they still havent figured out after all those years... still no propper map ban system for ranked like they promised years ago... its just sad man if there was a siege competitor i would play that but there is none... also the cosmetics in this game are 70% ass 20% over the top and 10% good. Like some shit shouldnt even be in the game... oh and i hate when they changed the light in this game everything is bright no dark corners... and dont get me started on the awfull audio the audio is prob the worst thing about this game besides cheaters
