lucky you. because customers can report you to ebay for doing this, and it’s against their TOS. i had a phone conversation with multiple ebay employees about it. they don’t allow it, as amazon is their largest competitor. they told me they have suspended people’s selling privileges for it, and even terminated accounts.

Closing in on my first 30 days of dropshipping and just broke 11k in sales. Over 250 transactions and nobody has questioned the packaging. Also a big plus is amazon's customer service. I had a customer who had their package stolen and amazon sent a replacement with same day shipping completely free of charge. Turned a bad situation into a positive feedback for me.

On my eBay listing under shipping I put that all items are shipped using Amazons Multi Channel Fulfillment service so they know ahead of time to try to avoid any issues they might have when their package arrives

I can only imagine this will reduce your sales. If I knew the item came from a different company, I would be very suspicious and I'll actually take the time to search said company to see if I can get it cheaper. I'd take that out if I was you, I think it's really hindering your chances of more sales. Just an opinion. :)

I have bought from an Amazon drop-shipper and the first thing I did was go onto the Amazon site and check the price. I didn't make a complaint and gave a good review because it was still cheaper than the local store. It was an item that wasn't a lot of money and I hadn't checked Amazon but after that, I bought the item directly from Amazon.

This is a brilliant video. I'm not overly concerned about customer complaining about the package but I am very concerned about customers seeing the invoice with the price I paid. So far, I've sold 60 items (I'm a beginning) and I've not had a single complaint... yet! I'm waiting for Nike to respond to me as I asked them whether an invoice is included within the parcel and if so, whether it shows the price. This concerned me from day 1, particularly when you're thinking of all the "what ifs?" etc.

I feel the same. Just today I noticed Amazon (in Canada) is sending the invoice with price in the package. (my 1st time trying them) I called to have it removed, fingers crossed it worked, or I might have some explaining to do lol. And being newer to this, worries me so early in the game.

Yes you are correct. This is a bit of an older video. We used to recommend gift receipts because Amazon USED to include invoices in the box. Now they don't.

For one, packaging isnt a problem. Id be surprised if a customer was concerned about the packaging from different companies other than ebay. As an online reseller, packaging is recycled whether its been from Amazon, walmart, chewy, etc. Every reseller who has their own inventory does this to save money on supplies.

ughmuggles i was concerned about the packaging. because i don’t order from amazon and i NEVER gave anyone permission to take my address out of ebay and put it into their amazon accounts. ebay agreed that it is unethical, and that it is not allowed from amazon specifically (their biggest competitor). i reported every single seller who has done this. if they asked me for permission to move my information, maybe that’d be different. but they did not. they violated my privacy rights, without authorization. NOT okay.

Returns for Dropshipping are super simple. You just go to your supplier's website (like Walmart), tell me you want to return the item and they'll give you a prepaid return label. The problem with Walmart is not the box,but rather the invoice,they might not include it sometimes,but other times they do and customers complain about them since they can see the original price,how do you deal with this? I watched a video(which you actually commented on) and the "solution" provided is sending the product as a wedding gift;however,don't walmart restrict you from creating a Registry so many times? or freeze your account for creating too many Registries ,and that can be considered suspicious for them? This has actually been the "rule" for a while now. It's one of those poorly written rules because it says "it is not allowed" but they still allow it (eBay knows we are dropshipping yet they haven't banned us for it). Instead, eBay says they are throttling our accounts, which we've known for over a year now. But they won't throttle your account if (1) the don't know you dropship (and if you do what I teach in the course they won't know) or (2) you sell products other people don't sell unless they also dropship (which is why I stress using other suppliers that are uncommon). My team has done a ton of testing around this and the course went through some major updates pretty fast as a result.

I have sold over 50,000 products on eBay. Out of all of those transactions, maybe 100 buyers have sent me a message asking me why their item came in a different box (I think it's actually much less than 100). Out of those 100 people, only about 50 followed up after I sent them an explanation and continued to complain about it. You can do almost anything but once you order it try to use the gift option

@@PaulJLipsky I Got it! Another thing, i have been using 1.177 as a multiplayer! For example, i'm dropshipping on amazon and something cost $50.00 at walmart, $50x1.177= $58.85 and i think another 15% for amazon. My question is, is 1.177 a good rule of thumb to follow? my math is weak at best. While i have your attention i was banned from ebay i was using profitscraper and maybe adding too many products too fast!! anyway i'll be back to ebay with another store soon. but right now i'm going with amazon. I see on your videos you use 300,000 or less for a good product to sell, correct? i will follow you with that! i can't afford any software yet! I know this is an old video so I am sorry if you're answered this question somewhere else but I was just wondering, since Ebay is ok with dropshipping, can we just write something on the description that states the fact your item may come from a 3rd party, or something to that effect?

I know this video is old but it just came in my email today, and although I've been dropshipping for awhile I found it interesting. Do you think choosing gift option is worse than not? I've heard this, and I thinkt he boxes that contained no receipt were likely not gift receipt. For Walmart I choose registry, they have Baby, Wedding etc, but it probably would indicate that, and for Amazon, I heard they don't put that return slip inside if you don't ask for gift receipt, but I don't trust not using gift receipt as I have had feedback from customers saying they saw the price and asking why I charged more.

Amazon is now shipping in plain boxes with plain tape. And they don't send the amazon trucks. They make sure to put it on the fluid rentals. WTF is going on? Why would amazon allow drop shipping from another website AND cover it up for them?
