Happy to see others who keep their bikes clean enough to eat off of! My GasGas is just as spotless 😂

They cost too much $$$ to not take care of them, right? Thanks for watching.

Yes for sure!

Thanks for this Vid. To my horror I watched a big glob of mud disappear down my oil tube filler so I’m gonna go ahead and change the pump out
@code4performance Жыл бұрын
Oh shoot! Take the elbow off (the piece I replaced due to cracking) remove the screen and flush out the tank from the filler downward. Replace the elbow after cleaning the screen and you’ll be good to go! Thank you for the comment

Doing this to a new 2022 250 XC I just bought a few weeks ago from the dealership. Two years must be their life expectancy and I went ahead and bought the NiceCNC one. We'll see how long this one last.

Your video shows that you might have a TSP compression head and haven't relocated the fuel injectors. I would like to know if an ECU reflash is enough for long-term reliability or if you recommend that I install an injector relocation kit. Thanks for your help!
@code4performance2 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching and commenting! Yes, I do have the TSP High Comp Head and the TSP tuned ECU (Not the ERM setup as this was released after I installed the ECU and head). I have had excellent reliability with this combo, and currently the bike has just over 180 hrs. I plan on a top end over the winter and I will post about the wear discovered. The TSP is likely the best on the market for the TPi bikes and even the newer TBi bikes. It runs great. Check them out at slavensracing.com/shop/ecu-reflash-module-erm-by-two-stroke-performance/ Slavens Racing sells the ERM version and the head. If you want to send your ECU to TSP and have it re-flashed and (No ERM) check out sbmotoperformance.com/ Hope this helps! Summary, yes in my opinion it has added to the longevity of my TPi bike.

Mine is leaking - Wondering why you replaced it with the same oem one if that one is prone to cracking and leaking. I am looking at the nicecnc one as a replacement
@code4performance11 ай бұрын
To be honest, I did not know about any aftermarket options. Thank you for the tip!

@MrStephenCoggins how is that nicecnc angle piece working out for you? Because I wonder if it is worth ordering one.

How’s that natty shock working out for you compared to stock? Been wondering if it’s worth the price.

It’s the Magic Carpet in my opinion. Well built and worth the money. Coupled with a good fork set up, of course. Thank you for watching

ive replaced it 3 times already on my 2022 the 300i and going to be replacing again soon looking into a Dif solution this time though

@@BlueDreamtoken I’ve wondered if maybe harsh cleaning chemicals deteriorate the rubber. I’ve installed the NiceCNC version and it really isn’t any different than the Oem and it’s made in China….good thing it’s not a difficult repair and not very expensive. Thanks for watching and commenting

Did you have any issues with clearance and getting the Oetiker tool up to tighten the clamp?
@code4performance6 ай бұрын
Its tight getting the pliers up in there, but as long as the pliers have the crimping ability on the side of the jaws, you can get them in there. It helps if you even remove the shock and mud flap and engine stays and of course the throttle body moved to the side. Hope this helps. Thank you for watching.

My 21’ TX300i ran perfectly all weekend. I wash it and put it up for next weekend. Then all of a sudden it won’t start. Turns over but won’t hit. FI light flashes 4 Long + 2 Short. Manual says oil pump. Any ideas?
@code4performance3 ай бұрын
Thanks for reaching out. Did you take the tank off when you washed it? If so did you fully re connect the fuel fitting ? The bike should run even if the oil pump had failed, not for long though…You’ll get an error code as you described. Check all the connections for water intrusion is the best place to start. Hope this helps.

KTM's rep for making unreliable bikes is still true. Too many problems including the leaking 2T oil all over the garage, exploding kickstand etc all on a 2022 GasGas EC 300. ALWAYS buy Japanese. Should have bought a Yamaha.
@onthethrottle7104 Жыл бұрын
All bikes have challenges. When you sell as many bikes as KTM does and the fact that there is a thing called the internet, you're going to hear about everything. All things considered and what these bikes are put through, the issues that have been noticed are extremely minimal and the KTM enduro bikes are still the best in the business. I mean, you're down to complaining about a kickstand as a big issue? Yamaha has their issues as well but they don't sell near as many two strokes as KTM does.
@johnnyrebellion8672 Жыл бұрын
@@onthethrottle7104 I hear ya but it was $175.00 for a new Fastway kickstand.
@onthethrottle7104 Жыл бұрын
@@johnnyrebellion8672 You didn't need to buy a Fastaway kickstand. The KTM kickstands can be fixed, if you have an issue, for a few dollars. If you check the bolt the and spray WD on your KTM stock kickstand knuckle you will never have an issue. Most Yamaha's don't even come with a kickstand.

Take the oil injection off.
@code4performance Жыл бұрын
If you are racing perhaps take it off. This bike has tuning and has ran flawlessly for many hours. I'll keep the injection, especially on multi day rides where all you need to do is put gas in it and go. Thanks for commenting.
