Less "Does tire size matter " more tire model comparison. I was expecting an explanation on how 33 vs 35 vs 37 vs 40 matters. Torque, grip, clearance etc.

Great video for those of us who care for looks and size of the tires. Wish there were more measurement videos on 37 and 38 tires.

You need to invest in a diameter tape. You’d be surprised just how for off your guesstimates are. I use them all the time working in the heavy rubber coated steal roller industry.

New video idea: "does 3pms rating matter?" Of course that'd apply to those of us who live in the midwest 😁

BFG's always run small. Always! I find the KM3 is closer to a Baja Boss A/T for tread size, depth, and noise.

I wish bfg still made the old original mud terrian ta that was before the k2 and k3. They did very well off-road in the mud. I couldn’t care less about climbing rocks.

Please do the same comparison video for the Klever RT & Baja Boss AT in 35x12.5x17 & 37x12.5x17’s. The Kendas run pretty true to size and I’ve read that the BBAT 35 runs a touch small. If this proves true for the BBAT 37 they may be just what I’m looking for. Cheers.

The Mikey was on a rim in your video and the bfg was empty. Could that have had impact in overall height?
@4WHEELSHOP4X42 жыл бұрын
Hi Friends , Nice content, congratulation. although we like to say that you can not compare a tire mounted in the wheel with other tire w/o wheel, lets try and you will discover that mounted in the wheel the overall diameter change a little vs the tire alone, this must be because the width of the wheel affect the total diameter of the tire. be in touch, nice videos.

Reducing both tread depth measurements to the lowest common denominator. The MT that is 22/32 should measure 11/16 & the BFG that is 18/32 should measure 9/16. I can say I wouldn't be pleased buying a 39" tire that only measure 38". Re-label or change price structure but somethings got to give.

All BFG tires are smaller than advertised. Premium tire premium price and they lie to the customer. They also wear fast.
@jaredtinson67202 жыл бұрын
I agree they are pricey and run small, but I've got 58k miles on my factory ko2s and still have another 15-20k miles left on them. They have worn amazing considering they crawled all over Colorado for 3 years and made multiple trips to Moab, through Death Valley in 127 degrees and Canada when it was -40 below! I'm now in Tennessee and the clay is the only thing thats slows them down, otherwise they do great here. Id have no problem getting another set of ko2s, but may go km3s since the jeep is no longer the main road trip vehicle and mainly sees trails now.
@Treyk9012 жыл бұрын
@@jaredtinson6720 i had issues with my KO2s warrantied two of them for bad road force, lumpiness and shaking. The other two were borderline bad and wouldn’t be warrantied but still made my truck shake. Wet traction was subpar and was really bad with lateral wet traction.
@jaredtinson67202 жыл бұрын
@@Treyk901 that sucks man! Ive never had any issues with mine in any weather. Living and traveling through the rocky mountains through the winter and the southeast during the hot seasons and have never had issues in rain, sleet, light or deep snow or off road. The duratracs I had on my f150 were also fantastic for 70k miles in the same conditions. I hope you are having better luck now!
@kennymiller8217 Жыл бұрын
True , my 285s are only 9 inches actual tread with touching the road which i found small compared to most off road tires and such a taper from the actual width ? Why such a taper ? They also wore so fast with light kilometers , they should have made the KO2 wider and a little deeper , if Jeep didnt have them stock on their vehicles im not sure many would buy them , they were nice on road but not good in any mud at all.

9/16ths and 7/16ths is the same as 18/32nds and 14/32nds which is the 4/32nds difference between the manufacturers claim.

Hey there! Love your videos, keep them coming. So I have 37 inch BFGoodrich mud terrain‘s with 22,000 miles on my lifted F250, and they have gotten so loud! I only go off road occasionally, so I’m thinking about going to an all-terrain tire. I have watched your videos on all terrain, but I’m wondering if you recommend one specifically for 37 inch tires? Thank you!!
