We will play. Although my 3-year-old doesn't like to talk he rather hums the words, getting him to talk can be rough he shakes his head no. I have heard him say a few words before like HI, hello mom Dada.. and his sister's name. He can sing, count etc in humming.

When he clearly says "no" in response to asking him talk, I'd suggest a more play based approach. He shouldn't feel the pressure of being asked to perform. Where as the play should be set up in a way that speech naturally occurs through imitation or spontaneously.

U r video is very informative my daughter 3 yrs old and what ever we say catches immediately and she will also say and sings sings very well slokas very well but she is not communicating her needs like whatever she wants she will point what she need or she take us to that place so is the same process to her to communicate more pls suggest and past 1 month she is going to school also

there may be so many underlying reasons. dont think how to stop it, think WHY and if u can find the reason. common reasons: high stress, sleep issues, digestive issues, too high level language, not being able to communicate, etc.

At first parents must go development pediatrician. Then doctor will decide it is speech delay or anything else. Plz give correct information because time is most precious for this situation.otherwise your video is very good.

It's funny that u say parents shouldn't waste their time but also say they should go to a dev.ped. because if u go to a dev.ped, they are anyway going to send u to a speech therapist. So why not save time and skip an unnecessary step? If it is a medical issue, go to a doctor. If it is a speech delay go to a speech therapist. It's simple. thank you for your comment but i stand by what I said.

@@PriankaEvangelineSLP hi Mam now we are attending speech therapy classes Before that I used to train him with flash cards colour,alphabets numbers action words, things around us and so on but he won't even say a single word now but my son is producing more than two hundred words after attending speech therapy only.If i continuously insist he is saying two words sentences I request the therapist to teach framing sentences but she said he should know words start with ka kaa ki ta taa na Naa ni ni ra raa ri words and she started phonics also conting and writing. I asked that mam to teach how to frame sentences but she said he has to familiar with that afterwards she will teach sentence framing I am very much confused and worried but at the same time I don't want to argue with that therapist because my son started saying words after attending therapy mam how can help my child to frame sentences
