Sit Means Sit Hawaii Dog Training I would want to take my dog there but he is not crazy aggressive but he is a bit playful aggressive he plays rough (easier to say anyways)

Great patience of trainer. We are scheduled for a consultation with a Sit Means Sit located in Portland, Texas. I noticed the GSD in this video was wearing an E-Collar and the owner was using the controller. However, no mention is made of how the E-collar was introduced or used into the training of this dog. I wish you had included comments about this. I was surprised that no other viewers of this video noticed that? Our GSD is aggressive towards other dogs in our house. It will be quite a job training our dog out of this agression.

Beautiful job! Beginning body language just screamed of protectiveness for his mom/personal space and nervous aggression. At the end you can physically see how relaxed he finally is (relaxed muscles, loose mouth with a LOT less panting, lowered head, relaxed tail, ears calm). Great job working the trust and teaching him to find his confidence! ❤️

I love to watch a handler that knows his shit. I train as well, but red-line agression is not my area of expertise, and a trainer needs to know his weaknesses and strengths. It takes a special talent to do this kind of work.

Amazing transformation!! Once he got the picture of who is the dominant one (not him of course) and he learned to trust his handler, he became a different dog! Almost all dogs have this in them, there are of course, exceptions that just have a wire crossed in their brains, but thankfully that is rare in my experience. Stryker sure is a beautiful boy and he's super smart, he had the obedience thing down in no time, almost like it was in him from day 1. I love GSD's, best doggies in the World with a little good training and Stryker here shows why...Good BOI!

The drive on that dog combined with the imposing sound of his bark would make for an amazing protection dog if his energy could be focused on that instead of letting it run wild. He is a cool dog and your training is great! Good job on this one. I hope his owners were able to keep him on the right path and I commend them for not putting him down for his aggressive behavior.

I always say there’s hope for every dog. I work at a dog daycare and we have a Vizsla who’s very high anxiety and energy. He has a problem with one of our dogs, but recently fought with two. I believe there’s still hope for him. Maybe I can recommend his owner this place.

Sadly this is how my dog is. Even the one friend she does like she will try to bite if she thinks he's leaving. She will love him(him only) the hole time but as soon as he gos for keys she gos nuts.

Billyboy Don't give up...I have had 4 rescue German Shepherds over the years, a few from abusive backgrounds, but one VERY vicious one. It took a LOT of patience, consistency, and love for her to stop her aggression, but she ended up being the biggest cream puff!! She doesn't know a stranger, LOVES everyone, wants to be petted by any and everyone... GSD are highly intelligent but highly sensitive and clued into humans and tend to latch on (some times TOO much) to just one individual.

Hope your dog is doing better! You’ll need to find somebody who has a good mix of positive reinforcement and negative reinforcement, like these people. Regular Petco type training classes won’t do squat for dogs with anything other than a happy go lucky demeanor unfortunately
