This is one of THE best muzzle videos I've found because you showed the whole process of how to get them to leave it on their face long enough for the human to put all the straps on. This video is GOLD. Thank you!

Should I be doing all these steps in one go? Or should I maybe space them out over a few days?

Great video :D I have a few questions: Would you say it’s ideal to have the dog in a “relaxed” state (lying down, taking treats calmly) while doing these exercises? Would you still recommend verbal markings like “yes” during muzzle training if I plan on using them for a different behaviors in the near future?
@Whiskeytoller5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your questions! I would definitely suggest starting in a more relaxed position to help encourage that state of mind and create duration easier. The marker word "yes" simply tells the dog that they are going to receive a reward. This can be used in all sorts of training!

We just put it on and she was fine with it. She doesn't love it but she accepts it.

You sound like someone who has no clue what their saying and hasn't owned a dog in their life or someone who isn't taking proper care of their dog
