For everyone asking when dexter was 1 he had surgery for his nostrils - He had Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome, the surgery widens the nostrils and removes tissue around his throat :)

Thanks Sarah! That was the surgery I could not remember the name of. :) So, now he just has as much "normal" breathing as a Frenchie can have.

I'm so sorry about Sherpa. I lost my Zoe 3 years ago and I know how much it hurts.......whenever I cried for her I prayed my tears turned into her blessings , wherever she is , and I still send her my love and thank her for everything she gave me ....Share this with him if you can . Sherpa was an amazing doggie . I'm so sorry for your loss

I sure want a dog! I have a 13 year old cat, and I’m her favorite person. We got a kitten last year, who loves my hubby best. She is extremely playful, often involving her claws. 🌈🐺 Sarah, I just wanted to let you know how sorry I am to hear about Sherpa today. You and your Dad were so lucky to have him for so many years. He was very lucky to have you both, also. I know that when I've lost a beloved furry family member, it's been hard to understand how the rest of the world keeps going as normal when your life is forever changed. 💐 I've been watching Sherp's channel for several years now, and I've honestly been really worried about your Dad when this would happen. He and Sherpa were so enmeshed that I'm extremely concerned about how he will function now. Please look after each other!! Hopefully, in the not-too-distant future, some pup will win the doggy lottery and find a life and home with Jamie and your family. Obviously, Sherpa could NEVER be replaced, but I'd like to think that he'd understand and approve of your Dad having a new little buddy/buddyette to love and have adventures with. i know that I'm not family, and I have no right to say anything, but I'm heartbroken to think of your Dad all alone in the house, now that Sherpa is gone. 💔 Sending love to you, your Dad, K'ey, Jodie, Biscuit Lady, your Gran, Bill, Nook, and all the friends you've all found along the way, from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Please know that although I've probably misspoken, I mean the best for you all. i hope you'll lean on each other to help heal, especially now when the pain is so new and raw. Sometimrs when tbe tv or any loud noise us too much for their sensitive ears, they tend to try and find a more quiet place to hide, he may not felt well at the time and needed comforting, and kinda sounded like he had a hard time breathing even more than usual, when dogs act like that its either sickness or sadness or boredom
