parrots need more mental stimulation than a dog does; not dissing dogs, just how these birds are

Yes, parrots and dogs have different cognitive abilities and natural behaviours, so their needs for mental stimulation can vary. Parrots are highly intelligent birds with complex social and problem-solving skills! But dogs are social animals with a strong focus on scent, movement, and communication. I think parrots just require more varied mental stimulation to satisfy their complex cognitive abilities and mimic their natural behaviours in captivity. 😀

She’s so adorable 💗😭 Also question what’s the best species for beginners?

Thank you!🌸 When it comes to choosing a parrot species, there's no one-size-fits-all answer. It really depends on various factors such as your personal preferences, lifestyle, space availability, and budget. While some people may find smaller parrot species more suitable due to their manageable size, noise levels, etc, others might be drawn to larger species or have the resources and dedication to care for them properly. It really depends! I would recommend checking out Episode 25 of The Parrot Podcast as we went over this question with The Parrot Wizard! kzbin.info/www/bejne/kHbTnZKHf86BZsksi=WHBL-BK9NqPfm3-_ 😀
