Hey, Amy, you could use that chicken broth instead of pouring it down the drain. Love your channel. Great and useful information!

Great idea. Or you can use the water in their dog food.

dumping greasy water down your drain is asking for plumbing problems...

I bought some dried breakfast sausage last fall figuring it'd be good for traveling but can't find it now so switched to dried sausage -- biltong is what it's called I think. Just tried dried fish skins. Worked really well as they could smell it easy, dogs could nibble on it, relatively hypoallergenic, travels well, easy to have in my pocket.

Do you keep this in the fridge till show day? And also how do you keep if fresh when on the show grounds all day?
@AmySuzanneComer4 жыл бұрын
Keep it in a ziploc either in a refrigerator or an ice chest.

I like the microwave trick it would be easy to make if you are in a hotel 😁

I thought garlic was toxic for dogs, but I've now seen three videos about making show bait in which all three used garlic salt... so confused.

I do understand your concern. I think it’s all about moderation. I am not a veterinarian, but I do not believe using garlic as a light seasoning on a treat that is used sparingly would cause harm. It would be high amounts of garlic intake on a regular basis that would be concerning. I can tell you that I have used this recipe for over 30 years with no issue and as you stated, you saw the use of garlic in other’s instructions as well. As always when watching someone’s recommendations, consult your veterinarian and decide if their advice will work for you. Hope this helps.
