Dog TV Daycare #23

Doggy daycare for your dogs to watch while you're away. This is 6 hours of dogs playing and socializing to calm your dog. Dogs are social animals, they want to feel like they're part of a dog pack. When you leave, they can feel like their pack has abandoned them.
A better alternative than music for dogs, but check if your dog becomes overstimulated before leaving the video running (don't show this video to dogs that over-react).

Nearly all the dogs in the video are available for adoption. The dog you're referring to is probably Mazapan who was adopted a few days after the video was recorded. The shelter is Pima Animal Care Center in 🌵Tucson, Arizona USA 🌵 and covers Pima County, which covers a big chunk of southern Arizona.

Do you have any background information on Sally. She looks like she was in a bad situation because she seems very timid. I'd love to adopt her.. unfortunately, one, my girlfriend and I live in Houston, and two - we already have three dogs

@bigsarge8795 I don't know Sally's background. She was spayed before arriving at the shelter in mid-December. She was adopted about a week after the video was recorded, so she's in a home now. Luckily she only spent 2 weeks at the shelter.

@BankniftyTitan They're only in the yard for about 30 minutes. We cycle through dogs and the overall playgroup is only about 2 to 3 hours. I put multiple days together in one video to create a long video. These animal shelter dogs spend almost all of their time in kennels, unfortunately. We have volunteers who walk the dogs in the mornings and evenings. In normal times we try to get all the dogs either walking or in the playgroup twice a day. But with the overcrowding right now, it's more like once a day. Some of the dogs who don't need daily walks only get walked every other day due to the lack of enough volunteers. The volunteers and staff do give each dog personal attention and look for any medical or psychological issues the dog may be having.

I live in Maricopa County...Phoenix but, I'd come save a life from your place IF you have a bully type breed or mix that is not only good with dogs but cats as well. Must for sure know they're good with cats though. We have been looking for a couple months and can't find one. We have contacted lots of shelters with no luck. We are learning the good and bad about some of the shelters along the way too. Any help would be appreciated. Thx

I don't think he's been in any of my videos. He looks like a Chocolate Lab with some pit bull mix. He's in foster right now and here's the notes from the foster: "This is Buddy, we are fostering him from PACC and we really need to find him a loving home. Buddy is great with other dogs, kids, cats and knows how to sit and walk on a leash (pulls a little bit easily trained). Our time having Buddy is nearing the end and I can't stand the thought of having to take him back where he'll be stuck in a kennel 23 hrs a day if he's lucky. Please let me know if your interested or have any questions! He's so sweet and a beauty who loves to give kisses and get love from his people and pack!" @@DogPlaygroupStories Hi, thank you so much for the info. So many sweet dogs that my heart breaks for knowing they are sitting in cages majority of their short life right now. Dingas and Buddy would prob be the closest matches. I have a very playful mastiff and cats so not sure how the others would do. I did hear back from a local rescue who seems very helpful unlike the many others I've spoken to here. I'm supposed to hear from them tonight. Depending how that goes I may be back for some more info on those 2 dogs. Can you please post an email to contact you as well? Thx

[e-mail] Bob was in the playgroup on Saturday where I recorded, but he won't be in the posted videos until Feb 15, so I created an adoption video for him on my other channel so you can see him playing in the yard. ...also, in Pima Animal Care Center the volunteers walk each dog at least every other day. They try to get them all out every day but there's so many dogs right now (450+). Under normal conditions they walk the dogs twice a day. The volunteers also spend time with them as needed. Some dogs want petting, others want to chase a ball in the play yard, etc.
