No matter what tragedy says Mobb Deep are universally one the best hip hop duos of all time. But i feel this is more a personal issue with the CNN and Mobb Deep that stems from way back, Prodigy and Hav are tightly nit, not letting no one in to mess shit up, doing world tours, and building there legacy. while even though i respect Tragedy he's not doing much for QB or the game, when people think of QB they think of Mobb, Nas, Cormega....and yeah i know you where locked up, but so was prodigy and when he came out he started his own label released a lot of material and books. not to mention they released a dope infamous mobb deep album together. The way i see it Trag and Nore need to keep mobb deep out there mind and just do them......Also Tragedy's flow is better than Cormega's But side by side Cormega's albums are better than Trag's, Megas lyrics and stories have more depth and meaning which make his albums classic.....Tragedy is still to me the "father" to alot of there styles, but for some reason could never surpass them musically.

+Invisible Rules Nobody is taking nothing from Mobb Deep but It's QB thing i guess because they all still have personal beef over lil petty shit that happened in like 1993 when niggas were using beepers and smoking dust. Trag is one of the greatest mc's ever imo but he just doesn't have the discography to compete with them. I think it's his production, alot of his beats are good but there generic. And I feel like at one point dumbed down his music to fit in with the early 2000's thug style. I think Trag just needs to make a concept album with dope producers like Alchemist, Just Blaze, 4th disciple

That bullshit, I'm laughing for real. Real heads worldwide think about Tragedy first over Mobb Deep, when it comes to QB ! Do your fucking Hip-Hop homework and step your game up ... D.I.T.C. are far more legendary than Mobb Deep, and Trag was/is part of it. Without Tragedy no Nas, no Mobb Deep, etc. pp. Trag always went deeper and on a far higher level, while the Mobb did (good) music and art, but it never was on that real philosophical, higher ish, while Trag was representing that level since like the 80s. Trag never sold out, while the Mobb absolutely did. If you think Cormega's stuff is deeper, you never really listened to all of Trags very honest and true work. The cat lives for Hip-Hop and is representing it, like not many. Aight, have fun listening to all the plastic-shit that the mobb and specially P did in the last 10-15 years. sorry for my bad english, peace

The irregular changing message in the verses of Prodigy are quiet obvious, especially when one keeps "Real power is people" in the list, which seems to be anti-system in spirit in the sense of "fuck bling bling, rims...." and anti-gov't... ...and then few songs later it's back on like "I got more chains, so I cooler then the weather when it rains" and other back on the train of promoting the agenda he claims to be against. When a rapper claims to be this and that, no matter what, he better keeps his script consistent or he will be called out as "LOST" from people that can use their brain to think and not only to consume music.

If P,ever goes back to that neighborhood he may very well wind up dead.Nas himself don't even go back there.P is one of the best rappers in the genre but he was promoting himself when he wrote that book.Havoc came close to separating with him a couple of times.He probably only stayed because there's still money to be made as Mobb Deep the group as opposed to solo ventures.But Havoc can do damage for just making beats and producing so at least he has other options for himself.

Nas goes to Queensbridge with the camera crews and a security team.Tragedy lives there.Big Difference.
@wilykat8 жыл бұрын
I rest my case.Practically no rap star ain't tryna visit or live in their old hood after getting rich.They become targets.Don't get it twisted though.When Tragedy was making loot,even when he wasn't in Nas cash range they robbed him so what would you think they would do to Nas if the opportunity came? You think I'm knocking him for not making appearances like that or living there? Guess again.
@wilykat8 жыл бұрын
+Haze Jones You're starstruck.Havoc only did what he did to Tragedy because Karate Joe threatened to hurt him if he fought Havoc back.Otherwise Havoc would've got his ass whupped.And Nas gets way more respect as a lyricist not because he was a street dude.Nas knows he would get touched at the right time of night unless certain people are with him.That's just how it is.People like to believe that respect has no limitations but it does.Even Prodigy admitted to being set up by his own people for his chain even though he supposedly got it back.Queensbridge is trife as they come.
