Hope youre doing well and Zeus is recovering. Im looking to purchase a dogo female, As a breeder would you recommend getting the dogo with tournament wins and mother with obedience training or would you go with the cheaper puppy without. One is from nemesis dogo and the other is from a breeder who got her dame from nemesis and i cant decide which of the two is the better option. Thank you for help and response. The best dog for you depends upon your purpose and getting the dog in the first place. If you intend to compete getting a dog with parents who are titled and have done well in the show ring would be very important. However if you have no intention of competing then a history of winning in the show ring really does not matter. For example if you don’t intend a hog hunt your dog having a history of hog hunting doesn’t matter because you don’t intend to do that. If on the other hand you intend to hog hunt your dog then having a dog that comes from a long line of successful hog hunters matters a lot. So what matters in getting a puppy is what your intention to do with that Pup is.
