Will there be Dogs in Heaven? this music video ponders that question. I was inspired to write this song when a faithful old friend was about to pass away. In the morning we will say goodbye to our precious dog of 12 years. He has been the best dog ever. Everybody loves Max and Max loves everybody. I have known this day was coming for six weeks. It started when he couldn’t jump on the bed one day. And then day by day he lost more use of his legs until he could no longer walk. He would move his front feet and pull his backend and back legs. There was nothing the vet could do. Being a large dog he suffered from severe arthritis and loss of their use of hind legs. Our grandson had brought him home from the shelter where he was volunteering. He said he watched all the dogs when he would feed them. They would be jumping, rattling their cages and barking. But not Max. He would patiently sit quietly waiting for his turn. When he called and said he had adopted Max, we were not happy. We already had three dogs. But when I looked in those beautiful big brown eyes I fell in love. He has been the most wonderful dog there could be. I have been crying day and night since three days ago when we made arrangements to help him get to that rainbow bridge where he would be able to run again, turn around in dancing circles and give hi-5’s again. I hope he can find the yellow lab that we had to also help get to the bridge 6 years ago when he was 14. I will never forget him and it is my prayer that we will be reunited. Max I love you more than you can imagine. Thank you for loving me back. Until we meet again at the rainbow bridge. RIP

One month ago I said goodbye to my precious little dog Mandy . She was my best friend for the last 17 years. My life will never be the same without her by my side. She taught me the true meaning of love. When I wasn't feeling good she wouldn't leave my side . I miss her and love her so much . My heart will forever be broken.

My baby is lying next to me with partial liver failure. We will find out in 4 days if she's going to heaven or gonna make it. Me and my wife is so extremely worried. What ever God decide we are ok with His will, but we will surely be very happy if He give us more time together. Thank you for your beautiful song.

To all of us hurting and broken, just imagine ur fur baby running and playing with other dogs, even prior dogs you had that passed. 💔 I know our loved ones AND our pups stay with us and love us forever. I lost my baby, Cooper, he was only 6 yrs old, had acute kidney failure out of no where. He was suffering so bad, I held his head and told him I loved him and it was time for night night, he passed in my arms ❤ 😢💜🐕

I said "so long" to my little Dachshund, Fritzie, last Wednesday. It is Saturday now and my heart is broken. When his good eye slowly closed for the last time..... He was 17 years old. He taught me the real meaning of love. I am 76 so I will be with him soon. Such a healing song. God bless you.

I’m so glad that you gave your little fritzy such a good life. I’m about your age. When I was growing up the next-door neighbors had a dachshund named Fritz. They never took him for a walk so I started taking him for walks. I was tall for my age but he was so excited to get out and so energetic that he would often knock me over. Usually by wrapping the leash around my ankles. I loved him a lot.

Just lost my best buddy of almost 12 years, my yellow lab, Hoss, this Tuesday. Your song is wonderful and very encouraging. I believe my good buddy is waiting for me in doggy heaven to cross the rainbow bridge when I one day join him, my passed loved ones, and meet my Almighty Creator. I'm still reeling from the pain and guilt for putting my good friend with aggressive cancer down but I did not want him to suffer any longer and I pray he will forgive me as I had his best interest in mind and was with him until the end as I know he would have done for me. I thank you for your words and talent and great song sung with sincere emotion and honesty. Keep the faith and let's be as good as we can possibly be to our animal friends and to each other while we are here in life such a short while. My one dog passed away two weeks ago unexpectedly too. He was operated on and the operation was successful and then he died in recovery from a runaway blood clot to his heart. I'm full of grief and so is my other dog. They grew up together for 9 years and now his companion is gone. My present dog has never been alone. They loved each other , yet they were so different in their personalities. All of a sudden and unexpectedly I never brought him home like I said I would. Me , my Wife , and our Great Dane ( Doc ) are a very broken family right now especially that there were no goodbyes except my last words to him were.... I'll be back to get you. ILL BE BACK are the three words I'll never forget in my life as I told my other dog that HE WILL BE BACK when I dropped him off for his operation. My other dog Doc is still waiting for him to come home through the door or through in the back yard or the empty lot I bought for them next door and fenced it all in for them to safely play and run. It,s now just me and Doc out there and it,s not the same anymore. I'm working with Doc now to help him to stop grieving so much because I don't want to lose him either. Like I said ..... He,s a Great Dane and he,s 9 years old and passed the average 8 years a dog like Doc lives. But he,s in great shape but he hangs his head when we do things together. I'm closely working with him. My motto was this:... The More People I Meet , The More I Love My Dogs. Hang in there my friend and since this just happened to me..... May God Bless Us for Loving Our Animals the Way We Do.

PETS IN HEAVEN A lot of people wonder about whether their previous pets will be waiting for them when they arrive in Heaven, the answer is definitely YES, but there will be some problems. All of the pets you have owned during your lifetime will be waiting for you so don't be surprised if you are greeted by say, 26 cats, maybe 10 dogs, perhaps a few horses and a donkey, this will be a handful for you and the time taken to tend to all these animals won't leave you with much time for praying and singing hymns, then there is the jealousy factor, fights between the dogs, sexual activity between the male and female cats, this will excite the dogs who will try to tear the cats to shreds. Then there will be people up there who have brought along unusual pets, such as myself, if Jesus allows you to have a pet kitten then he can hardly object to my pet crocodile named Boris, there's no discrimination in Heaven but you had better keep an eye on Fido and Kitty because Boris might take it into his head to make a meal of them, can you imagine the uproar? Boris has just finished eating Fido and Kitty when Jesus intervenes, next thing you know Jesus is running for his life with Boris chasing him snapping at his butt, and those Angels would be a tasty treat for a hungry crocodile. The next problem would be cleaning up after your pet Rottweiler has fouled the sidewalk on Gods streets of gold, would Jesus supply you with a shovel and a bucket or would he employ street cleaners? It seems there would be a lot of problems and not the least would be the inmates of Paradise fighting each other over problems with their pets, perhaps Jesus will employ Police Officers to sort it all out. Also there will be a lot of believers there who died on Earth over the last 6000 years, they would probably have their camels, donkeys and goats with them and if you are driving down the golden streets you might crash into a herd of camels who are not traffic savvy. Oh so many questions but I expect Jesus will sort it out. (If he escapes from Boris)
