The last fact about the Bluetick Coonhound becoming a "State Dog" of Tennessee. I believe this is the only state to acknowledge that is has an official state dog. As for the fact about them being a good watch dog I would agree up to a point. My Bluetick would let you know if someone was in the yard when she was younger. Now that she is in her shall we say her twilight years 😭the only sound you will hear from her is when someone is in the kitchen and her snoring while she sleeps.
