I am also jealous of her beautiful long nails. They remind me of Barbara Streisand's nails in the 70's when I was growing up. It put a image in my head as a child of what beautiful, graceful, and feminine ladies hand were supposed to be, and what I've always tried to attain. Kind of strange, the little details that stick in your mind from childhood.

I would suggest maybe having a tech do an overlay over your nails to help you. It’s also important to keep your nails healthy with nail oil. Be careful of what you use your fingers for as you’ll cause breaks not being careful. Always keep some sort of coating on your nails. Even layers of regular nail polish.

Hi! My own nails are very weak and flaky, due to medications. The only way I can grow them is by having gel/acrylic overlays on them. I really did want to have natural nails, and was loathe to have overlays. Then I realised that I was putting on up to 17 layers of nail hardeners, softeners and top coats every week. So....what's the difference between me doing all that and just having gel? Honestly, give it a go. My nails are only a little shorter than this lady's, but I'm getting there!! Whatever you decide to do, good luck! Xx

No hate but that's very easy to get very long nails when they're coated with very hard resin. My nails are 3/4 as long as hers but without resin, that's something else. Plus I do my nails by myself without "traditional" nail polish and I'm no nail tech. xP
