Getting rid of baby clothes is so hard. I had 3 girls in a row and approached 42 and figured it was time. I was SO distraught over seeing the stuff at our yard sale my husband told me just to keep what I really couldn't let go of. That was the best thing I did because a year later, I was pregnant again with yet ANOTHER little baby girl (who's now almost 8) and all the clothes where just what I needed.

I thought I was done after my 5th. Found out he was a boy, and decided to get rid of all my girl clothes... except a couple of things I really loved. Glad I kept some because lo and behold, got pregnant the next Christmas and it was a girl. I'm due with my 7th now for Nov. I have a little of both boy and girl baby things so we decided to keep it a surprise

Jamerrill, I love you personality and the tone of your voice so calming, I could so hang with you and just take in all the calmness. I am a empty nester, I always wanted a big family but never happened. God did bless me with 2 children one on this earth and God needed my sweet baby in heaven, so watching you kinda makes me wonder how life would be on a farm homestead with a big family. Silly I guess but a mommas heart never loses that hope and dream I guess. Anyway I enjoy your videos and reading the comments from other mommas of big and small families. Those foot prints on the wall made me smile. I hand out wash cloths once a week and my oldest 3 and I wash all the walls, doors and light switches once a week bc we have hand and feet prints on the walls too. My kids are 11, 7, 5, 5, 3, 17 months and I'm 23 weeks pregnant with #7. Only one of my 5 year olds help though bc one is special needs. Everyone is surprised my house is neat and organized consistently and never gets out of hand. I always say "many hands make light work" we can get together and get the house under control in a very short amount of time. We also have morning and night routine we do everyday to keep it under control. Plus I love to declutter. I know once I start feeling overwhelmed that we've accumulated to much. I feel like decluttering is even more important for us since we are a lot of people and can easily accumulate a lot of stuff. People always want to give us stuff lol. We are 9 people (I have baby stuff set up already) in a 2600sqft 4 bedroom home sooo a regular home with a large family.

I don’t know if you have them in the USA, or if they are called the same thing? Here in the UK we have tension rods, which can be put up in doorways etc and used to hold up curtains. Maybe you could get one of them and hang a pretty curtain up in place of a heavy door? That way the contents are hidden but kiddos can still easily access the closet? X

I was going to say that. We had a laundry closet (washer dryer) in our main hall at our old house. The old bifold doors were awful and I was worried about the little kids at the time pitching fingers. We used a decorative shower curtain rod and shower curtain for a long time before we got new doors.

Hi . The best hangers are from HSN .Joy Mangngo .They take up less room. Nothing falls off. She was on this past weekend. I feel your problem because I have TOO MUCH STUFF. I think I would store them in the garage or basement. I have plenty of closet but I have to get them back in them. I am a widow / grandma with too much stuff.THANK YOU. 😚🥰🙏🌻

My son got a special onesie when he was born and I had to save it. It eventually made it into a T shirt quilt I made for him. Probably more special to me than to him. lol. Great job on the hall closet! Bet Zion could nail a couple of wood strips on the side walls for you so you could even have adjustable shelves there! Just need to find a couple planks of wood to fit in there. (It's always easy to do OTHER people's projects!) Great work and great inspiration!

The winter clothes decluttering in the summer. It takes that long for me to want to touch the winter clothes again after the long Wisconsin winters we have. I actually had to double check the date on this video because I thought maybe it is spring when she's doing this, but no it's actually summer. It all looks so nice and real!!!

I think painting the outside of your house would look great if you want to do that. I like the white wash where you still see the natural brick better than solid paint but I think both look better than plain red brick.

hi jamerill, from one large family mom to another. we use hooks at kid level in foyer to hang coats , I think it's easier for kids and moms to keep it tidy. maybe this would work for you too . thanks for sharing your life , your such a blessing!

I loved watching this! So nice that you get the kids to help with so many things. I need to hang shelves in my sons' room yet... waiting since October. Oops. I just hate putting holes in walls. Gives me anxiety! And I agree with the extra shelves in the closet! I have closets like that in my house and I made some shelves for in my girls shared room. Such a difference!
