Thank you so much for putting this compilation together. It helped me to be motivated to finally tackle the monster of a mess that is our basement. Please don't feel like you have to justify your decisions to people on the internet. People should just be happy for you finding ways to bring more peace to your life.

Now my dear , it seems your husband agrees with you but doesn't follow through.But you are different people and work in different ways when you realize this... don't be upset with him ( ♥️ ) realize you are free individual and can change and grow yourself ! It's very stressful if you feel responsible for what he does or doesn't do...,I believe through Jesus that we never stop learning or growing...PS. I'm almost 80 am enjoying my life more as I've aged. Take care LOVE your video..thank you !!❤👍👍👍👍👍🤠 BB from somewhere in Louisiana USA

I just discovered your channel today. I am enjoying your decluttering video! I downsized this year moving from a 3 bedroom house to a 2 bedroom apartment. I too, spent most of 2024 decluttering/donating/selling/tossing. It was quite the process, but it feels so good to be "lighter".

I like watching your declutter videos bc they are so relatable. The Easter eggs in the target bag in the bin- this is universal mom storage stuff. The Christmas decor that I bought bc I was “influenced” - for me it was the gingerbread themed kitchen decor that doesn’t even fit in my small kitchen 🤦🏼♀️ These are things we all experience and it’s inspirational to see the progress you’ve made.

43:37 Why do so many of us women criticise ourselves and others for not being perfect. I have really taken to heart the expression of seasons in life. Sometimes we are really on top of things and sometimes we are not. If you were ill, pregnant and taking care of yourself, and your family, who cares about clutter in your basement. Then the season was to do that, now is the season to declutter this area. Don’t be too hard on yourself. You did the best prioritising for you - both now and then. Take care!

@ValerieCheney-n3r2 ай бұрын
YES! the glass is VERY old, I don't remember the names, but you can look it up on line and also find out current prices. Also the condition of the pieces WILL effect the pricing. If you have the app on your phone you can scan the item and look it up that way. I would use a plain background light in color to get a better picture. That will make it easier to find the piece. Depression glass is from the depression era if I remember correctly. I also want to add, If there is anything that your mom has had from her youth you need to scan them too. You would be surprised what is considered a collectable.

Hi Catherine, before anything else I think you've done an amazing job of decluttering your home, and I'm so pleased it's left you with a good feeling. Now I live in England and we don't generally have pantry's full stop. I mean I've moved quite a few times throughout the years, and I've never had a pantry. So I think your ever so lucky to have one. But after Christmas I've got to do a wardrobe declutter, and gonna have to be brutal cause I just don't have the space anymore, I normally enjoy doing my cupboards out etc. but sorting out clothes is a big no no for me. But I'm adamant it's getting done. But well done you, terrific job...🥰🇬🇧🐾🐾🏡🎄❄️🎀💕👍

I like these videos they are very motivating and I like hearing your thought process too. I live in Australia and have a walk in pantry so it's a reasonable size but we don't stock a lot of excess food. Watching a lot of YT channels imo a lot of British homes have smaller kitchens and smallish pantries. I think not throwing out empty packaging is often a male thing. 😂

Been doing the same as you it’s our intention to move next year so I’ve essentially got rid of everything in our loft except Christmas and memory boxes . The garden shed has been thinned to just minimal things . As we’ve decorated each room for the move more decluttering has happened .
