It's all just a manifestation of misogyny tbh. I thinks its important to try to educate these bad habits/thought processes out of women who aren't fully aware of the influences behind their actions and thoughts. I think it's so powerful for women to be able to see beyond this internalized misogyny and to not view themselves as in competition with each other BUT targeting/judging those who are not quite there yet isn't really gonna help anything or anyone. Insecurity is more a symptom than a fault or weakness and deserves to be addressed as such. We gotta rise together bitches

The why are you so quiet comments drive me crazy too! I haven’t been told this in a long time but growing up I used to hear it a lot and had an ex boyfriend that would say why are you so antisocial? He’d say it in social situations right in front of everyone. It made me feel so uncomfortable and definitely didn’t make me feel comfortable to open up.

SAME. My biggest pet peeve is when someone repeat themselves too. The first time they told their story, i was already listening intently, i pretty much can retell their story myself. And when it happened again the second time, i usually remind them that they already told me that. But if they want to keep going then i'm just gonna be on my phone pretending i'm listening and if they're mad. Well... i don't care. I can actually use the time when i'm "listening" to their stories the second/bajillion times doing something else.

I feel like I’ve said this before on your videos but Im a twin also and I completely get the “being an observer” thing. I used to be the exact same way and i think it has to do with the fact of being a twin. We communicate NON verbally for years until we start talking and learning to express ourselves that way.. so we pick up on a LOT of non verbal cues that really is like have a whole conversation.. youre not weird or awkward, you’re reading people because that’s how YOU learned to communicate.
