Great tip about wiping/cleaning the nails BEFORE using your e-file. I never even thought about that. Thank you.

Yes omg it saved my clients from so much lifting ! You can clean and get rid of all the cuticle you want but if that lotion and sunscreen is being spread all over the nail, it’s done for!

Oh my gosh this is so relatable. I once got done with my nails at the 2am because I HATED them and took it all off and started over. My husband thought I lost my mind lol

Question(s?) Umm so when you filed off the old design and left the old base was that the NT clear base or another Kokoist base? And after that you applied the other base with a bit of structure or a little less structure because of the previous base already being there? Sorry I’m new to line and just finished my certification (Kokoist not the NT one yet) I’m coming from a background of simple gel polish so structuring bases and whatnot is really foreign to me. 😅 Thank you. 😊
@nailthoughtsАй бұрын
No don’t worry about it ! Thanks for asking :) So underneath the red French design was clear builder base yes ! I recommend watching that video next so you can watch me build with that. And for the lavender ice base, i did a little less structure (only a little less) because i shortened my nails a big amount so i knew i didn’t need too much. I did have the leftover clear base on but i really always thin it out as much as possible before applying new base. Thinning it out makes it sooo much easier because then you just basically give yourself a whole new structured manicure on top while still having that thin layer of base underneath to keep protecting the nails from overfiling etc!

@ What product on the website can I purchase to get the brush lid? 😍 Because it’s genius! Do all brushes come with it?
@nailthoughtsАй бұрын
I linked the brush lids in the description too! All the brushes come with a metal lid so the silicone brush lids are just a separate purchase in case you want that kind of brush cap!

Gorgeous! I’ve been obsessed with your nails products as soon as I discovered you! I just do my own nails at home it’s been so fun. Stupid question, do you have to do the magnet on both coats or would you get away with just doing it with the second coat? Ty!!!
@nailthoughtsАй бұрын
not a stupid question ! I thinks it’s worth the experiment , but my ~educated guess would be if you left the first layer not magnetized it would make the second coat a little darker . Because see how dark that blue was before i magnetized it ? I think it would just affect the brightness of the second coat!
@kimreed5160Ай бұрын
@ yes that totally makes sense! It takes me like 3 hours to do my nails so seeing how I could cut corners 🤣 thank you!
