She was very friendly and all, but unfortunately, she has a boyfriend. So I said, all good, I'm a mature person. But we kept in touch and we became friends and I got over my crush on her. Then she broke up with her boyfriend, we drank some alcohol because of it, I told her she'll be fine and I wished her well. I still think she's the most beautiful woman in the world, but like I said, I am over my crush on her. It was like five years already when I first saw her. Besides, I am quiet happy with the friendship I developed with her. It was more important than a crush. So we kept hanging out, drinking, having coffee, and all. I had a girlfriend, she started dating other guys. My girlfriend wants to live some other life without me in it, so I said, okay, I want the best for you and I want you to pursue your happiness. My lady friend and I drank alcohol about it, and she gave me the same advice I gave her when she was in that position and I became okay with the breakup immediately. But we were really drunk, so she spent the night in my apartment. I only have one bed, so you know what that means: She took the bed and I slept on the couch. But on the couch, I really can't sleep. Something was bothering me. So I tossed and turned for about three hours, then I finally can't take it anymore, I stood up and went straight to my room where she's sleeping. I approached the bed, gently sat on it and I reached for her shoulder to pull her closer to me. She stirred and woke up. She asked what's up. I told her, you know, the first time I saw you, I was watching a video and left it playing to get my self a sandwich then went to the store to get some mayo then I got distracted by life that I forgot to finish the video. She said, you know what, I've been wondering about a weird noise in your night drawer. So we opened that drawer, and lo and behold, there's my phone and this video still has two minutes of play time on it

Its amazing how open ended the game is but it’s a shame how straying from the path doesn’t really effect anything all that much dialogue wise. Most of the changes are extremely small and are usually along the lines of “Oh you already did that, ok”. It would be hilarious to see impa have extremely different dialogue from freeing the divine beasts and getting that master sword. Imagine impa being pissed that she waited a hundred years to tell you what to do and you already did literally everything without her having to help you at all.

If you want open ended w choices that matter i totally recommend playing fallout new vegas! It's a little old and glitchy but it's the golden grail of all open world games, in terms of player choice and story.

Heven demo I also like how impa says they all seem overjoyed to see link again. Likwe, does she know revali or is he just a tsundere. What a game where you can do things in any order and the developers actually planned for that. Seriously I love how free this game is. I never minded the linear nature of the previous ones, but being able to completely flip the script and actually allow you to play the games this way is great. This is similar to what I did with Skyrim. I always waited to do the main quest so I never got bothered with dragons as I adventured.

Laura Reynolds My favorite moment I managed for that NPC interaction change was at the first lab where the little girl thinks you're in good shape if you brought her blue fire without having to be told. It's actually helpful for skipping the run around true head scientist dialog you'd hear on your first playthrough. I did a second Playthrough just for the boss rush and beat it today with 14 hearts and over 40 armor value. I used lvl 3 Amber earnings and knight greaves since Hinox guts and Amber were easiest for me to get and enchant with. Darn ThunderBlite Ganon seemed to cheat with an unpunishable electrified shield ram. I just bearly stasised him and shot arrows on the last half of his fight. He hurt me way more frequently then even full health beastless Calamity Ganon.

One thing that bothered me from this game was the developers didn’t think you could do this early and didn’t have Impa doing a crazy reaction like”YOU BEAT THEM ALL BEFORE COMING HERE” that detail could have been awesome and shown they thought of everything or if you bring an enemy here they won’t attack just simply do a scared animation and the monster does nothing Hopefully in the next game (which I heard will have the same art style as this maybe a sequel I think a prequel will be better)

Anonymous Perrson actually defeating the divine beasts is not required to defeat Ganon. It’s just highly recommend because it makes him weaker. The only reason the paraglider is required is because you can’t get off the great plateau without it

i’m in the middle of this right now and it’s really weird how the game reacts. it’s not super noticeable but it’s definitely different. for example purah and symin won’t let you upgrade your sheikah slate because you don’t have permission from impa to fix it. i didn’t think it was a huge deal at first but not having the camera or the full sheikah sensor + was difficult. a lot of side quests and shrines can not be completed without the camera and tracking objects with out the sensor + was a pain. What’s weird is that characters that normally task you with quests that involve the camera either don’t have the prompt (like laflat) or they don’t exist at all (like bozai) robbie in akkala ancient tech lab is completely missing too and you can’t purchase ancient tech (which makes fighting guardians a little tougher.) other weird things i noticed; yiga klan foot soldiers aren’t in hyrule until you retrieve the thunder helm, some side quests that don’t have anything to do with the camera aren’t available and i don’t know why (noticeably the gerudo quests after clearing nabrois) the dragons haven’t spawned at all. i don’t know if that has anything to do with impa, but they aren’t showing up. i saw naydra during the spring of wisdom quest, but i haven’t seen it since. that’s everything i’ve noticed so far!

I did this in my casual playthrough lmao, I was heading towards Impa but got sidetracked by a tower and then I decided to get all the towers right at the start of the game, and I freed all the divine beasts while I was at it too. I also didn't get my first horse until after I talked to Impa, and since Hestu is right next to Kakariko at the start of the game, I didn't expand my inventory at all until then either. I legitimately thought for most of the game that your starting inventory is your permanent inventory size.

That'd do nothing. When you beat Ganon, it does this cutscene and blah blah blah. It returns you to the main menu where you can press Continue. But when you do, it restarts you from right before you entered Ganon's room. The game will still know you beat Ganon, so completionist things like Kilton's Medals of Honor now work. But the story itself won't be affected depending on if you beat Ganon or not.
